Seagate knows hard drives. They've been making them for decades. I worked at Hitachi Data Systems, a computer storage company. Although there are more reliable hard drives out there, for the price, it's hard to beat this Seagate drive's price performance. WHAT YOU GET - Power adapter, plug, and cable. (It needs external power to work.) - Standard USB cable to plug into your computer. (If your computer only has the new USB-C ports, then you will need an adapter.) As you can see from the screenshot, you can see 7.27 TB of storage, not 8.00 TB. Don't demand a refund. It's the nature of hard drives. You always get a bit less usable storage than you might expect. Don't panic. For consumers, you'll love this external hard drive. It works best with USB 3.0 connection, but it will work with the slower 2.0 connection. It's plug-and-play for both Windows and the Mac. If this has been helpful, give me a thumbs up!
