This bike works fine right out of the box but if you spend the time to dial in the disk brakes and fine tune the gears it is great. Super quiet when riding and stops on a dime. I can hear other bikes clanging along with dragging derailleurs and squealing brakes but I am amazed at how quiet this bike operates when riding along. I frequently come up on people and they never even realized I was approaching. The quality is top notch. Understand, that while this has the mountain bike style it is a hybrid and does best on paved or concrete surface. The tires are not the fatter, dirt tread found on a mountain bike. Even with that, the 700c style tire is perfect for the endless miles of concrete bike paths in my town. There are plenty of gears to get you up any hill or cruise along at a brisk pace on level ground. I picked this bike for the amount of options included. Disk brakes, rack, headlight, fenders, built in security and more for under $300 was exactly what I was looking for and it's Schwinn quality!! This same setup on another bike at a bike shop could easily run over $600. This is my first Hybrid style bike but after owning and riding it I have found the perfect bike for what I wanted.

Manuals & Guides
Very nice bike, rides beautiful, gears change with no problem. Nice head light and a very nice lock .attached and out of the way. 5 stars, Walmart assembled it at no charge. It did have a small dent in my front fender, but other then that, it's worth it.
This is avery nice bike. It went together just fine. Just know the front forke must curve to the front of the bike. The instructions are a little misleading on this. All other points of putting it togeather are great. I have ridden the bike for about 15 miles without a problem. I install a Sigma BC-5.12 bike computer and it fits this bike without any problems.
I WOULD highly recommend this bicycle to anyone considering purchasing it. In my humble opinion, the disc brakes feature I'm neutral about, the old style pad brakes on the rims work just as well, with far easier future maintenance and adjustments. Overall quality of the bicycle is very good, the ride is very good and the Shimano lever actuated gear shifters work excellent. I replaced the original seat with a padded seat, original seat is VERY firm and rather uncomfortable likewise, I chose to mount a plastic crate to the rear rack to allow me the opportunity to transport larger or heavier items when out bicycling. I mounted a red LED set of battery operated lights on the rear of the crate on the rear end of the bicycle for better night visibility. The standard features that come with this bike allows for such customization without large amounts of extra money to be spent...great value!!
an OK bike if online you assemble it
I haven't taken the bike for a ride yet but it seems like a very good quality bike. There was a delay in shipping but it finally came. One issue you have to put the bike together. The directions included didn't match exactly so I used videos online to figure it out. I'm not sure if it's the wrong manual or an old version of the bike. You will need a hex key.
