Washing the gray out!
I always take the Allergy test when using a new hair color product! So I preformed the test. Reading the instructions I found out they suggest not washing your hair prior to use or not to use if your hair has been colored with henna or metal dye. The color I'm using is Schwarzkopf Keratin Color anti age Caramel Blonde. I had enough dye for my shoulder length hair, if your hair is longer I would recommend two boxes if you want the dye to cover sufficiently. The Schwarzkopf Keratin Color box states less odor experience, I found this to be true, this was a more pleasant experience. I waited the 30 minutes, then rinsed my hair following the instructions which are easy to understand and they come in three languages. It states on the box 100% gray coverage so after my hair dried I checked the results. I very happy with the color and it covered my gray. My daughter suggusted I switch and use this color again! I do recommend Schwarzkopf Keratin Color, my experience was a happy one with good results. I got this for free to try and give my honest opinion from BzzAgent.

Claims to be permanent but DID NOT stay in my hair
I have used box color off and on for over 10 years and have always used Loreal or Herbal Essences. This time I wanted a funky color and had been seeing commercials for this Schwarzkopf brand. It was pricey for store bought color, so I figured it had to be decent. WRONG. The box says permanent but it is FAR FROM PERMANENT. I only wash my hair 2-3 times per week and every single time I washed my hair, the shampoo suds were pink and my hair looked more and more dull every time. I started out with my brown natural hair with a few blonde highlights before using this color. I do not recommend this brand to anyone! Don't waste your time! my hair turned out just like i wanted it to

I have never used this dye before and was reading some of the reviews after i had put it in my hair while waiting to rinse it. at that time i was very scared of what my hair was going to turn out like. I have to say that I absolutely love it. I had christmas tinsel silver gray hair highlighting my whole head and medium brown natural hair. Well this makes me look 10 yrs younger as i am almost 52 right now and looked a lot older then what I am before dying it. I will continue with this dye. I hadn't dyed my hair in almost 4 yrs .

Best ever hair dye!

This is the BEST hair dye on the market. You do not even need to wash it a few times to look good. Covers grey. There is nothing else even close to this. It looks like you just left the salon. Please don't ever stop making this!! I used 3.8 velvet brown the first time. It was so beautiful. I went back to buy more but could not remember what I bought (left the color number at home) so I guessed and purchased 4.0 cappuccino. Ooh my gosh so pretty. I dont know which I like better. I had to share this with the other woman. Amazing!!

So Happy It's Perfect

This is the best Hair color Product on the market to cover grey and white regrowth. Lately, this is the Only product after years of professional hair coloring, using Nice n Easy, L'oreal Preference and others that claim 100% grey coverage and do Not! I was a professional hairstylist / Manager for years and this is the only product that actually colors the grey and white hair that is regrowing instead of highlights. The other brands don't last past one or 2 shampoo's and only seem to be more of a highlight rinse on the grey and white regrowing roots. This product actually colors it to match the rest of the hair :)) I feel I have lost 20 years just from coloring my hair, and am so GRATEFUL ;) From 55 to 35 Thank you soft blond 8

Something different; what a nice surprise!

I have never tried the Schwarzkopf brand hair coloring before and I was very hesitant in trying it. In fact, I didn't even open the box for three or four days because I was going to take it back to Walmart and exchange it for my usual brand. Then I got a streak of bravery and decided to try it. This is a great hair product. I used the Schwarzkopf Keratin Color Anti-Age Hair Color Kit. It comes with reassuring and very thorough directions. When I applied it, it seemed to embrace my hair very gently as it worked up into a smooth lather. The color was perfect. I wash my hair every day, but the color just seems to get better and better as it sets up in my hair. My husband even complemented me on my pretty hair color. I love this product and will definitely buy it again.

1. ON MY HAIR, CARAMEL BLONDE COMES OUT AS A RICH LIGHT BROWN. IT IS A BEAUTIFUL LIGHT BROWN AND I GET MANY COMPLIMENTS ABOUT THE DISTINCT COLOR. I HAVE BEEN DYING MY HAIR FOR OVER 30 YEARS AND THIS IS THE BEST AND MOST BEAUTIFUL HAIR DYE I HAVE EVER TRIED.
by SAMANTHA
2. I find it more red than brown and darker than medium blonde
by annieleah
3. Hi, I love this color. But I was buying it in the original package at Big Lots. I have blonde, grey and dark root hair. It gave me a beautiful color and it lasted a while. covered my grey and white hair and lifted the dark roots. So basically, it gave me 'for 4.50', the same effect that you pay a colorist to put 3 to 4 different colors on you hair to achieve a 'varied look of blonde', not just plain old blonde.
by BigSisCarol
4. Caramel Blonde, using caramel color sometimes puts red into the hair so I would recommend not using this one. I used it with red in my hair and the color came out beautiful, my hair is med. brown. On the box they have a phone number you can call and talk to a hair specialist, I would doing that before coloring your hair.

5. I uses this color Carmel Blonde, On my roots , they are pretty white, the colors have a bit of red in it , so beware , I was hoping for less red and more gold and less red , however the color was good and lasted forever

1. NO! And if you are over 50, I highly recommend you not use it all. It is making me bald now. I used golden brown 3 months ago. At first the hair loss was minimal but now it is handfuls. I'm not the only one. I think it does better with young people.

2. Just follow the instructions in the box. You will love it. Promise!!!
by Nellie
3. You can find info on you tube , however instructions are in the box.

4. Don't use it! It's junk

1. If you are used to "Ash" this 12.0 will not be suitable in my HO.
by StayAtHomeMom
2. NO, it made mine fall out... literally and burned my scalp. It also goes a lot darker than it says.
by baldy
3. If you've "fried" your hair (I've been there more than once!), PLEASE don't re-color immediately. Use an intensive conditioner on clean hair, wrap in a plastic bag fastened with a clothespin or hair clip, wrap in a towel, and leave it on twenty minutes. Rinse with cool water. Re-evaluate hair after letting it air dry (Try not to blow dry. This is damaging.) Repeat every other day until hair is reasonably healthy. For extra "hair healing", rub a few drops of olive oil, grapeseed oil, or sesame oil between your palms, then massage through ends of damp hair. Assuming the current haircoloring procedure has "lifted" away most of your natural haircolor, go for a semi-or demi-permanent color like Natural Instincts. They "fill" already-lightened hair without doing so much further damage.
