Hooked these to my 2 batteries on my 4 wheelers and on my lawn tractor. Hook my Battery Tender trickle charge by removing the clamp section and plugging these in. I use my wheelers to plow and they are charged so the start in the cold winter. then use it to keep my lawn tractor charged in the summer. the battery in that is a little week and this makes sure it starts when needed. For the price it was a great deal and works just like I had planned. Don't have to pull the seats off from the wheelers as I ran the cords to the outside for easy hook up. A couple seconds then plug in the Battery Tender and let it do the work.

Be Careful
Seeing that this does not appear to have a inline fuse built into the cable I would not connect this directly to the battery terminals. As I would expect to do. There would be no protection if a short was to occur.

Just What I Needed

I've had the Schumacher motorcycle battery maintainer for about 6 years and it worked fine keeping my battery charged, However, about 4 months ago I changed the battery and the maintainer stopped charging the battery. On close inspection I discovered that I had separated the maintainer postive charging wire from the ring that was attached to the battery post when installing the new battery causing the wire to short out and no longer charge the battery. Once I ordered and replaced the battery connector, the charger worked perfectly keeping the battery maintained and ready to
start my motorcycle. Being able to purchase and replace that part at a lower cost saved me the price of a new battery maintainer. The part was easy to order and arrived in 3 days. Very quick service.

1. Mine came in with a total length of 13".
Note the screw eyes are small, I already have it install on a Jet Ski Battery, est. the size to be 3/8".
