A Gotta Have for Road Warriors
I am a Field Manager and am working in Knoxville currently. I am sitting off in the darker section of the Walmart parking lot during the day as I use my truck as my office and apparently lost track of time as I use my laptop as well as charging my phone and listening to the radio. Well, when it was time to head out and check on my guys up north near the Kentucky boarder I went to start up my truck and you guessed it. Dead (or almost dead) battery. Could get the radio on and the lights but just not enough juice to crank. Closest field tech is about an hour and a half away and I couldn't pull him off the job just to come and give me a jump. I thought what they heck and I am going to do. Then it dawned on me. Walmart is right here. Wonder if they have one of those booster packs (which I have been putting off getting)? Well, locked up the truck and went into the store and saw they had quite a few different brands and levels of peak amps. I decided since I had a truck then my best bet was to get one with the highest peak amps. Sure glad I did. When I got out to the truck I read the manual and it said to charge unit before using. Well I just didn't have that option and hoped for the best. I set everything up and turned the unit on and pushed the button to see what percentage it had. Said it had 96%. Figured that should be enough. I hooked it up and let it sit there for a minute. Got into the truck and nervously turned the key. The starter had just a bit of a time turning the first time over but after that it cranked right up. I'm telling ya, this was a life saver. This will be staying in my truck from here on out. Just have to remember to charge this thing back up soon.

Totally Inadequate--Returned it
Unit was fully charged before I took it to a fair where I needed to briefly (15 minutes) run a MIFI modem off the AC outlet and then recharge my iPhone off the DC. The battery showed "O" before the phone was even one-third charged. Moral of the story: I can recharge my phone to full charge off a back-up battery smaller than my palm. Why would I want to lug around this albatross to perform even less than half as well? Took it back to the store for a refund.

PERFECT FOR CPAP!!!!

Verified purchase

The primary reason I bought this 6-in-1 jump starter was to use for my CPAP while camping without electricity. I charged the unit as directed (soon as I got home) directions say up to 72 hours but was fully charged after 6hrs. Used it the first night for about 7 hours and was at 74% charged in the morning. The second night I used it for about 7 1/2 hours and was at 45%. I then did not need it a third night so we decided to plug in a medium size rice cooker just to see how much power and how long it would take. After about 2 minutes the rice cooker chirped/beeped so we unplugged and tried again. No luck with the rice cooker guess the rice cooker draws to much power fore the jump starter. However no complaints. Great for my CPAP!!!!

It's GREAT

Verified purchase

We bought this because a friend loved his. My husband uses a C-Pap machine and we will use this while camping in the motor home. It runs the C-Pap for up to 3 nights without needing a charge. Better than the $400 + battery packs that are sold by others.

Works as advertised

Verified purchase

Ordered it online. It was fully charged when I got it. Used it to fill bike tires. It was accurate, worked great and did not even drop the battery voltage. It remained at 100%. All the features worked except did not try starting our diesel motorhome which has 2 starting batteries. But with all the starting power it has I do not expect a problem. I had the smaller Power Starter and it was able to start the diesel OK. I turned the smaller unit in because the air hose broke. This air hose is better stored on this unit so that kind of problem is minimized. This unit also has longer staring cables which makes using it much easier.

Works excellent!

Verified purchase

Bought so we could use for husbands apnea machine when camping and it can be used for about 4-5 nights! Can also charge phones too. Does take about 48 to become fully charged, so you need to be prepared for that.
