GREAT For the Price!
I needed an inexpensive 1080p monitor. Understanding that this is an inexpensive TV, it is exceeding my expectations running as a computer monitor. It does not have the contrast that a high-end Samsung would, but it is also a third of the price. Gaming is still absolutely stunning, even with the actual 60 Hz refresh rate. At this price, you can't go wrong with this TV.
A nice little TV for the smaller room I put it in. A snap to set up right out of the box. Nice clear picture too.
Happy I tried Sceptre
Very happy with this TV. The price is better than good! I see reviews saying the audio isn't too hot. But, if you nose around in the settings you can make it sound just fine. This is the first Sceptre TV I've owned. It won't be the last.
Delivery took a while - using it as a computer monitor - had to adjust the screen settings using the remote. All-in-all, it makes a pretty good monitor.
Easy setup. Beautiful picture
it's nice reminds me 2 years ago when element tv could do this for 99 dollars sceptre taking the lead in cheap tv
Good for the price, if you can get extra speakers
The product (and remote) are very lightweight. The audio is.. bad, much worse than the Insignia I paid the same price for back in 2008. I'd say buy this if you're on a budget but ready to buy some kind of (non-Sceptre, I'd suggest) aux sound.
Just ok. Bad sound!
Not bad for the price. The other reviews are correct though. It does have terrible sound. After tweaking a few of the settings it's not as bad but our 15 year old TV still has much better sound. The picture for this TV is just okay. For 1080p I expected it to be better. I probably should have gone with the 720p that had better ratings.
Seemed like a great TV at a great price. Picture was beautiful, remote control a bit limited and missing features I like, but, no sound. Called customer support, they recommended return
