If you follow instructions carefully this is a no brainer to put together. It was beneficial to have a second person around to help with assembly. The desk shipped quickly. It is a sturdy piece with enough storage for my work computer, printer and a variety of other paper work. The finish is very nice. I really like the traditional aspect of the color mixed with the metal accents on the piece.
