When it comes to finding the right pair of athletic shoes, you just can't beat quality design. While there may be many different types of shoes to choose from, a great pair of running shoes is specifically designed for just that, running. Design is how Saucony shoes distinguish themselves above the rest. Kinvara 9 shoes are meticulously crafted with this in mind, featuring a rubber sole able to effortlessly provide the traction needed to keep you moving forward at full speed while also supplying the flexibility to enable you to move naturally. Also constructed with mesh fabric able to absorb any excess moisture while creating a light-weight, breathable atmosphere for your feet. The fusion of form and function in Kinvara 9 makes them the best athletic shoes for those seeking to unleash their natural potential. Fashion Trend: Low Top Mesh Running Shoe

Improved over v.8! This is the BEST Kinvara since the 6.
I've worn most versions of Kinvaras. If you hated the 5, didn't like the 8, you might LOVE the 9. Reminiscent of the 6: comfy (but not too), enough support (but upper is like a slipper). SO happy with this redesign. Time to stock up!
I have three pair of Kinvara 9 so far. I've been using Kinvara for the last three years, and this one gets it right in many ways for me. They are my marathon shoe. The toe box is wide enough, the tops are comfortable like slippers, and the bottoms are supportive while also feeling soft. The tread seems to be getting a little thrashed earlier than previous versions, but I run a lot of road miles (100 to 130 per month). I plan to get another pair or two before they make more changes.
I'm a distance runner, usually focusing on marathons. Run 40-55 mpw regularly. The Kinvara 7 was my go-to shoe for 5Ks and 10Ks. I liked the slightly firm but still cushioned ride and light weight. I have a narrow heel and midfoot but a wider forefoot. Found the toebox slightly shallow so always wore thin socks in them. Did not try the 8's. These shoes fit about .5 size wider/longer than the 7's. I appreciate the extra room in the toebox but midfoot and ankle don't feel as dialed in. The ride is very responsive and the shoe is still very lightweight.
