    Great TV

Great 55" TV.. Great picture and sound up to 100..a steal for under $400.. I would recommend this purchase.. Easy set up.. I've got a other 45" TV by Sanyo I've had for six year's still working great.. I read the review's and a few other's complained.. I think they were just to picky.. If your looking for a good affordable big screen TV, you won't regret buying this TV.

This tv is a good buy!

This tv was the tv set I dreamed, the picture and sound are almost perfect, is a nice item!

    Nice 55" TV

I really love my Sanyo 55" HDMI TV. It's my first plat panel tv actually. Got it fo $418.00 I just got Comcast installed in my home and the Comcast technician set up the TV quickly. Even in SD mode, you have to pay extra for HD through Comcast, TV shows well. No issues at all and I'm on my 2nd day of it being used. The stand that came with it fit perfectly since I just had my mother's old antique furniture refinished and the old armoire has curved top, Japanese inspired pagoda roof, as can bee seen in the photo. I was worried, but the bottom of the TV cleared it by at least 3"!

    Great TV!!!!!

I had an older 32 inch sanyo tv (the old ones with the big case) that was still working great. I hated to get a new tv when it still worked. But I wanted an upgrade. So for weeks I have looked at tv's at walmart...this one in particular because first it was only $498 second it was a sanyo and third the picture was great and it was sitting beside a Vizio ultra HD and it looked just as good to me for $300 less. I don't know why it was priced so cheap compared to some others of similar qualities. Maybe it's being discontinued for newer models. I watched this tv every time I went in the store and finally broke down and bought it. After my 10% discount (husband works for walmart) I paid only $448 for this tv...but $498 was still a great buy. I am so very pleased with this tv...picture is great...sound is great...perfect size for my living room. It's simple to set up and simple to operate. I would recommend to anyone wanting an upgrade from an older model.

    sanyo 55 inch led tv

Was having trouble finding in the Paris, Texas area for about 3 weeks. Located a few in Bonham, Texas and finally located 2 in Hugo, Ok. Went to walmart.com, placed my order around 11 am and at 4 pm that same day was in Hugo picking up my tv. They had emailed and said it would be ready around 4, but I never got a final email, but I called the store and it was back in walmart.com. At Hugo, they don't have a special person doing the walmart.com orders, its like that at probably alot of stores, but they were there and finished up my order while I was there in a jiffy. I was back home just after 5 pm and watching tv. I think the remote is a little flaky, called Sanyo, because I never saw which HDMI to plug in. I had used all three and still no picture. Someone had left it in the wrong input source and me having trouble with the remote , so I used my old sanyo remote and put it HDMI 2 where I had left the hDMI cable and bam, we up and good. The price was excellent at 398.00 and I am happy.

    Huge Bang for the Buck

After spending a few years with my 42" Sanyo LCD TV, I decided it was time to go bigger. My 42" worked great and never had issues with it, so I took a look at the 55" in the store. Being priced at $398, I immediately purchased one. Got it up and running and I immediately wanted to check out how much better the picture will be. When initially turning it on, I was slightly disappointed that the color wasn't as bold as the more expensive TVs. BUT, adjusted a few settings, and the colors pop out more. Only complaint I do have about the picture is that it is just a touch on the grainy side when it comes to dimly lit scenes. Other than that, it's a great TV and a great buy. P.S: to brighten the picture more, go into settings>picture>advanced settings> and turn off the ambient light sensor.

    Good replacement

We just purchased this TV to replace a 50" LG that died after just under three years. We decided to go with Sanyo as we have two other older Sanyo TVs that have been working flawlessly for quite a while. I am impressed with this TV. In comparison to the LG, the screen seems to be of the same quality but the backlight might be "slightly" dimmer. The sound in better on the Sanyo by a large margin. We had purchased a soundbar as the LG was rather quiet, especially with two small children. As with any of theses new TVs, I can't speak for long term durability. I am hoping that it matches our other Sanyos. The inputs seems to be well laid out with three HDMI, a component/composite, USB, and VGA/analog audio. There is a headphone and optical audio ouput. The only thing that I miss on the LG over the Sanyo is a little more "flashy" menu system and the remote on the Sanyo is a bit generic. I can overcome both of these pretty easily. This TV isn't "Smart" but we have a "smart" blu-ray player for streaming functions so that doesn't really matter. Bottom line, if you're looking for a good 1080p "dumb" TV, this is definitely worth looking at.

    Excellent value, really a 55" for $398.00!

So far, so GREAT! Nice price and very easy to set-up. Love the pedestal stand (glossy piano black) versus 2 cheap looking TV legs that other competitors offer on large flat screens. Wonderful pic, clear and crisp. No Smart TV options on this model, but a HUGE value for the price and screen size!

    Wow

I don't usually leave reviews on products however I figured why not. I recently purchased one of those ultra he tvs the ones with all the great picture thinking I'd go home and plug it in and be amazed. 1200$ tv btw. I was sadly disappointed. Without all the other technology this tv is useless. There is no cable provider that creates a box to work with the new ultra had tvs. No game systems etc. might as well buy something cheaper. Well I returned that tv and decided on this one. Price is low and I pocketed a lot of money I saved. This tv is huge. Picture is great. Actually in my opinion better than the 1200 ultra hd tv I had just returned since the ultra had part was useless without all this equipment. In the end this was an amazing buy and I will be going back to purchase another. Well worth the money and time. Saves u a ton of money.

    Second Sanyo TV from Walmart

I am very happy with this purchase and now own two Sanyo TVs. I see that most of the reviews are negative so I would like to show that this product does not deserve most of the negative comments. As with all products, you have some good and some bad. Both the 42in LCD, that I have owned for the last five years and now the 55" have proven to be smart choices. The screen prompts are clear and to the point. Using the remote to set-up these TVs is pretty easy to used as everything is labeled clearly. The HDMI, PC, and the input/output channels are easy to do and access is simple on the back. I have moved at least four times since owning the 42" Sanyo. Being light weight, the TV was really easy to handle going up and down stairs. Forgetting to save the box for the 42" for repacking, I worried about damage to the set but insuring it was protected I had no problems.
