Greatest value for streaming WIFI DVD player

Bought specifically for the wifi streaming content ability, no long Ethernet cable needed (although it can use an Ethernet cable). I have a ROKU connected to our main TV and NETFLIX account, so this DVR added NETFLIX to our bedroom TV. Got one for my grandson that had no antenna or cable feed in his room at his home. They already had Netflix from their new PlayStation. My daughter liked it and wanted one for her bedroom, so I bought another for her & my son-in-law for Valentine's Day. So that's THREE so far. Can't recommend these enough.

Horrible

This has stopped working twice. The first time it wouldn't shut off & the controls would not work at all. In order for the dvd player to work again we had to unplug it from the wall & plug it back in. A couple of days later it froze & the controls again would not work. Returning this carp back to the store.

    Nice unit. Easy to install.

    Great picture, no complaints. Make sure U buy HDMI cable with unit.Is only connection to TV from unit.

    Samsung Blu Ray player

    Great little blue ray player, doesn't take up much space plays both Blu Ray and regular DVD. Wasn't that expensive. Shipping was fast and packed well. Great will buy another one if needed. This is my second Samsung Blu Ray player for individual rooms. Thanks Samsung and Walmart. Great service.

    Blu-ray disk with wifi

    I bought this Blu-ray disc player a couple weeks ago and I am very happy with it. It is very simple to set up. This unit connected to our local wifi with no difficulties, and also was easy to set up. I would recommend that you upgrade the firmware of the unit when you first set it up, as wifi functions such as Netflix and Vudu can be very jerky, and audio issues. Simply going to the set-up menu and clicking update firmware fixed everything.

    One for myself, one as a gift.

    I purchased one for my sister for Christmas. I also purchased one for myself. It was easy to hook up, and connecting to wifi was simple. My tv is sitting in another room adjacent to the room with the wifi source, approximately 22 feet away. So far, working just fine with no problems. I haven't played a blu ray movie yet, but regular dvd's play fine.
