The radio is well built with solid feeling control buttons. All functions have worked flawlessly. I especially like: the ease of operation specifically scanning through the presets with the large LED display, the lock button to prevent inadvertent station change, the quality of FM sound using earbuds, and the size which fits in a T shirt pocket. I played the radio for over 30 hrs using 2 duracell alkaline batteries and still had some juice left.
The negatives are the AM interference indoors from fluorescent lights. I shut them off when listening-then it is fine. AM tuning in my gym is nearly impossible. The earbuds sound good but they are the large non adjustable type with the foam covers that never stay on . I bought an inexpensive, adjustable pair that worked well.
Note that an FM wire antenna (provided) must be used for good FM reception when using the speaker. The earbuds act as their own antenna and can be used as an antenna for the speaker. The speaker is ok but don't expect it to be a room speaker.
The belt clip is so-so. Seems sturdy but has pulled off when making certain body moves. I usually keep the radio in my pocket.
Did not try the weather or memo feature.
