'Free Pickup Today' order only took 3 days! OOPS, Walmart!
To 'NiceSeeingYou, July 29, 2018' -- you and I BOTH agree on the construction of this Flash Drive. NOT GOOD! That said, we disagree slightly on the overall merits of this drive. It performs well, as a USB 3.0 flash drive should, but this construction is, at best, mediocre in my book. Some people have thumbed their noses on CENTON for their products, but after purchasing the SanDisk, I will absolutely stick with CENTON and maybe even PNY, as well, just because of the build of this and another "budget" Cruzer blade USB 2.0 drive (a 5-buck product in the school supplies section). It really doesn't cost that much to make a quality housing for your product, SanDisk! Others do it at very competitive prices to you. That said, some might be asking, "Why did you buy this, then?" First, neither CENTON nor PNY products are available to me for "Pickup Today." Second, this product is packaged on the shelf in store such that you can't get a feel for the quality of the housing. And, to make matters worse, someone in my store didn't pull the last unit off the shelf and bag it for me for Same-Day Pickup! They inexplicably buck-passed the order out-of-state, and I was forced to wait 3 days to get a drive that should have been in my hands in a couple of hours after ordering. That could have been due to the chaos in the store, due to re-modeling, but c'mon!
The verdict: NO to SanDisk Flash Drives, until such time as they DRASTICALLY improve the quality of the housing. Go with CENTON or PNY.
