Poor sound, with no audio outport port

Excellent picture and enough input jacks BUT no audio output connector. Called Samsung and this was confirmed. Since the audio quality is marginal (especially for music), this was a major shortcoming for me. Not sure I have the exact same 32 inch model, but if audio matters to you, make sure that the model you are buying has some way of getting the output to a good amplifier. There isn't even a headphone jack.

    Samsung F5500 32' (UN32F5500AFXZA)

So far I like the TV, but as with time comes the truth ...so we shall see. Looking at TVs wasn't easy and the money I would have saved for less features wasn't enough for me to try what may have been a less beautiful picture. Keep in mind i haven't used it much it is only a few weeks old. It is mounted on a wall up high in my bedroom. PROS TV is thin and very light. Excellent picture and color, Nothing bad to say about the refresh rate, Speed of navigation seems good, Lots of options. WIFI makes things seamless and is expected in todays world. CONS Menu layout a could be better organized and leaves me slightly frustrated at times. For instance unless i'm missing it...the sleep function is buried in the menu pretty good with no speedy way to access it. Also naming channels is about as fun as picking up broken glass. Things just aren't intuitively placed within the menu. Smart apps are definitely one of the reasons I bought this TV, and they are so far performing very well, but I haven't used alot of them yet, mostly You-Tube. But there seems to be plenty of apps so far, BUT i'm an Apple guy and this household is running 4 Macs all the time, and my first attempt at working with streaming personal media, with or without DLNA failed. So it looks like I may be buying an apple TV to fix this sad Void. Trying to use the web browser is extremely slow using this remote, the remote could be better ergonomically set-up for a better "no-look" performance factor. I had one "burp" so far that caused me to have to restart the TV. Screws for the back of TV to attach a Mount were absent. Cleaning Cloth also absent. Overall the TV is a good purchase for the $$$, it operates nicely and has an excellent picture. If you are looking for a smart TV this is an excellent choice, If you live an an OS X environment than possibly trying for a cheaper TV and buying an Apple TV may be the way to go.

    Excellant TV

What a Great TV all that Samsung says they are. Wonderful picture and good sound.

    Works Good

    Works Good

    There is an 'if'

This TV is really an excellent product IF used directly with a receiver. I have DISH and the satellite receiver is used for two TVs. The main TV is attached directly to the receiver but the second TV, in a another room, plays off of the receiver thru the cable connected to the satellite dish. The 'Smart' Samsung TV does not really work well in this configuration. I am going to try and move it to another room that has its' own receiver and substitute another TV that could be classed as 'dumb' (i.e. not 'smart' features). Overall todays TVs are not really configured to work well were more than one are connected to a single receiver. That is why I could not give it five stars (but I think it deserved five in the right setting). I over-bought features.

    Amazing Quality and Apps

The picture quality on this TV is the best I have ever seen for its size. I did not expect such bright and vivid detail (Also thanks to 1080P). Viewing TV shows and movies with Netflix directly on the SmartTV is so effiecient and quick; vs. turning on my Xbox360 means I use less power, and startup time. I am so pleased with Samsung's line of SmartTV's that I plan to further my experience with one of their 5.1 surround sound systems and BluRay. You get what you pay for, and you definitely get the Samsung brand name along with it. I was blown away! Also, it arrived 2 days before the first recommended ship date, that was a nice bonus.

    It would be better.

I purchased this television back in July and I still do not know what and how to use all the features. The television works great but it did not come with an instruction manual. Yes it has an E manual but it is for several models which makes it very confusing plus the manual needs more pictures and it left words out which made it very confusing I still have not figured out to program the remote that came with the TV to work with the cable STB. Otherwise the TV seems to work great I just wish I knew if I was using all the features it has to offer

    Great TV

We own the UN65F8000BFXZA and love it so when it came time to replace the TV in our guest room I knew I wanted a 32" value priced Samsung Smart TV. This TV has a great picture. As a matter of fact my youngest son came home from college for the weekend and asked if he could swap out his 32" Sony HDTV that he brought to school with this one because he liked it so much. He's loving it! High value for the price paid and I recommend this to anyone looking for a 32" with not every bell and whistle but the ones that you use 95% of the time.

    Exceeded our expectations -

I needed to replace the two televisions in our boy's bedrooms and did a lot of research on several different models. We have a 13" Samsung in the kitchen and have been very happy with it. The 32" Samsung's we received had all kinds of applications available. I was only looking for televisions with a good picture and sound - boy did I get much more. I was so happy with these that I'm now researching the 60" - 65" Samsung's to replace the Hitachi on the wall in the living room. These were a great deal through Wal-Mart.

    Perfect TV

Since I am not a TV person and could really care less about 99.9 % of regular programing through cable .... though having to have basic cable in the past to get anything... I find this a perfect solution.Love this option. Clear, brilliant picture and one can do as little or as many apps as they please, personal choices...My Samsung Galaxy phone is even connected into it. If I were to add one feature it would be to add a DVD slot to the unit. However it is not a ‘con’ for me. It would be icing on the cake.
