I own the Samsung 55" 4K (2160P) and the 40" 4K Smart TV, these are best in class TVs for picture quality and rendering (fast motion, etc). Audio is very good as is on the 40"; I added a Samsung soundbar to the 55" with surround sound to get the sound quality to match the picture for movies. Great seamless integration of Smart/Application content on the menu. Primary use is with broadcast TV, having about 50 channels where I'm located. External antennas attached, the TV tuner seems very sensitive, and probably having high selectivity, since I'm able to receive so many channels in an suburban area with high interference sources about. The TV Chanel Guide is a great feature, allowing you to scroll through all broadcast shows currently on, and those following can be scheduled for viewing later. Pulls together all broadcast schedules into a list with details, like a paid cable service. These models did not come with bluetooth audio, so I added it to the audio optical output, works great (have to change the audio format type within the advanced sound setup to PCM). Drawbacks - upon power on, menu is not very responsive until about a minute passes, must be waiting for boot up to complete. Also, using the simplified remote control is very convenient, but does require crawling around the menus a bit much - not really a negative, but an observation. Works well connected to Samsung, Philips, and Toshiba DVD and BlueRay players, as well as computer HDMI, used with HP Displayport computer, Raspberry PI 3, and Nintendo Switch. Was able to have HP Displayport using Windows 7 and 10, and having audio sent/on the TV. Very nice.

Samsung 55" and 40" 4K Smart TV fan
Watching in style.
Great picture. Great sound. Easy to operate. Would purchase again if needed.
I've only had it a little over a week, but whenever anyone sees it, the first thing they say is WHOA! I changed the picture motion rate to get rid of the annoying soap opera/video tape/live effect, and was left with a beautiful picture. The only complaint I have so far is it only has 3 hdmi ports. I had to buy an hdmi splitter. That's why I removed a star. All new tv's should come with a minimum of 4 hdmi ports.
Looks Great- Apps Fine- going back
I've had it less than a month. It's beautiful. Wife loves it. We used closed captioning in our house. Sometimes the captions remain frozen between channels (while active captions are flowing). Turn off TV and back on frozen captions are on. Switch to an app or HDMI input they go away... back to TV (over the air) and frozen text remains. Talked to Samsung, has latest firmware - suggestions and reset didn't work.
Looks aren't everything
The quality of the screen is what brought me to this product, it looked amazing compared to everything else on display in a comparable size. The issue is the programming. My TV cannot remember a MAC address. This means the network functions don't work unless the TV has its power reset each time. I've contacted support and a technician has replaced the motherboard, but the replacement has the same issue. I'm going back to support again, we'll see what happens.
Broken after 1 wk & 2 days
Used for 1 wk and 2 days with no problem. Now the screen has a orangish-red line running vertical down the left side of the TV. Used different inputs, plugged & unplugged and it’s still there. Can’t believe how poor this TV. Visio I own last forever and I try to go w a supposed better brand and it’s worthless!
When I first turned the television on - My wife and I heard a crackle in the sound system....I lasted for a day or two. With that in mind - we returned the television to the local Sam's Club. I really didn't make the effort to discover what the problem was.
