A Salty Disaster

Oh my, where to begin. Beginning with the broth. has a pure salt flavor. At 2970mg per serving, it's all you will taste. The Bok Choy is an unnecessary ingredient that adds an awful plastic-like texture to the meal. There is chicken flavor there, but SO much salt. The noodles. They are not authentic. I figured they wouldn't be considering. If cooked exactly to the package directions, they have that perfect al dante, hard texture, like actual ramen noodles. However, more salt. The meat. The chick tastes very real and a perfect portion. The fake grill marks kind of get to me. They add those "Natural Flavors" in with the fake grill marks. Overall, this product is purely ruined by salt. It was taste so much better if it had half the salt. It is not worth the $10. More like $6.

Bad Broth

This was really bad. The broth tasted like vegetable stock - super salty and not at all like a ramen or chicken broth. This would have been great if they just used chicken broth as their base, because the texture of the noodles and chicken was really good.

Not as bad as everyone is saying

Wow! I'm so surprised this is getting bad reviews. My husband and I really liked this. The chicken wasn't all that great but as he said, its like a step above top ramen and a couple steps below authentic ramen. Makes for a really nice dinner for two. I added just half a cup more water and a splash of soy sauce. Would probably taste great with a soft boiled egg added in.I do agree that the price is too much, so I wont be buying often, but will repurchase.

A Better American Ramen Soup

This is a beginning of better quality of American Instant Ramen Soup in local grocery store. Ramen soup must have salty flavor. If you worry about your health, add hot water or not to drink the soup. Remember all noodles suck soup if you don't eat soon. I thought it was a good flavor. And it had lots of vegetable and enough chicken. This was better than other American instant Ramen brands.

Not worth the price for what you get.

The concept is good but the quality is not for the price. It is only two servings for 10 dollars and it isn't worth more than half that price. It just was rather blah. I don't think the noodles should be added to the soup. It turned the broth bad if you saved the second serving. I think the noodles need to be completely prepped separately and then the actual meat and broth added to the noodles just before serving.
