Didn't work at all.

Hi! Got this from as an order. I have a small usb broadband to go device that I use to access the internet. It needs to be near a window for greatest reception. Was using a a cheap 6 foot beldin usb cable from my computer, worked great. Then moved my computer and needed a longer cable. Bought this one. Didn't work at all. Didn't allow any usb signal at all through the usb cable. Kind of disappointed. Be wary. While it might work for you. It is dependent on their active system, whether it works at all with whatever you connect it to. It is not a regular usb cable substitute. So your mileage may vary when you buy it. You are best off getting the longest usb cable without it that you can. Because whatever they do to make it active/enhance the signal at the very end is based on their techonology, which may or may not be compatible with yours. Even if you have a usb 2.0 device, they don't seem to follow the respected guidelines fully. Again it may work for you, but is a gamble as it may not work with your usb 2.0 device as it suggests. So be prepared, ahead.

Excellent Active Cables - No Lie

I looked online for "active USB cables" and found the least expensive and quickest shipping form Walmart. Also the cables are great. Not knowing the difference between "active" and "passive" USB cables, I originally bought passive cables from another dealer, and discovered they didn't deliver the data from my controllers to the computer and back, do to the distance (10 ft.). Then I learned that active cables transfer data more powerfully and I looked online. The shortest active cables I could find were 16 ft., which concerned me as I thought I might lose more data transfer power at that distance. I looked online at several companies and found the least expensive 16 ft. cables at Walmart. I received the active USB cables in the mail in about two days, no special shipping costs, and they work great.

Not the cheapest, not the longest, but it's pretty much bulletproof when the time comes to deliver without problems.
works for what I needed it for and would order again if I need any additional. Ship to store a bit slow.

Just what I needed to connect my notebook to my television. It's great to have a 52" monitor. A wireless keyboard/mouse combo is recommended for your lounge chair computing.
