Service and Fast Delivery

While some issues have been known with the way Hasbro and Walmart handled this exclusive, it doesn't take away how a great figure it is. Positives include a great face sculpt of Temuera Morrison, good range of articulation and nice accesories with the poncho, the helmet is a big improvement from the previous version figure (it doesn't smudge the face nose due to not being extremely tight), the binocs on the helmet is a nice addition, the silver/blue weld marks look better than the bronze ones on the previous release and the blasters all fit nice on the holsters and the hands.

It is not without its cons: The poncho while neat, it may be too cumbersome and it makes difficult to put on the hood or to have the helmet sit well. Depending on how the figure was sealed on the plastic tray, the kama may not sit naturally and the other negative is that the lack of a shoulder pauldron (needed due to the poncho) does take away from the iconic look for Captain Rex and that the left hand still doesn't have a trigger finger. 

While the launch MSRP is definetly too much for a non deluxe figure, if you manage to purchase it during a sale, I would recommend gettting it and not pay scalper price. In a surprise twist, it was packed with good safety and the box arrived not damaged.

A good alternative to a great figure

Wow has this figure jumped in price since it was released last year. I got two of them the first one i paid $30 for it then a few weeks later it showed up again on the walmart site for $20 so i bought a second one. Now at $99.99 that is a extremely high price otherwise its a pretty good Captain Rex figure.

This figure is in fact different from the other predecessors. The paint scheme on his armor is not the same which is nice.  His weathering is also different.  With that said he comes with a nice cape that is by no means cheap looking. It is well made. Let me not fail to mention the visor that is also removable! This is not your normal Rex. Worth the wait and a fantastic addition to my Bad Batch!

Ignore the Slander! This figure is BOSS up close!

The order came boxed and was in great shape!  I was lucky to get a restock this past week so I got 2!  Very happy to avoid reseller prices!

Captain Rex arrives safely

Awesome figure, but it's not without it's flaws, i was lucky enough to see this guy and crosshair pop back in stock on Tuesday, got my rex in today and there are a few probs, one the visitor has paint bleed, the cama is kinda dry and crusty, and the scope had to be reattached out of box.
I do still think he's worth picking up if you find it, just don't feed the scalpers.
Love rex, can't wait for imperial crosshair, also btw the clone shock trooper just came back in stock, good luck everyone.

Had issues but still good.

Love the figure. However Walmart decided to ship it in a plastic bag with no material to protect the box, so the packaging is completely ruined. Walmart needs to ship all collectible items in a cardboard box with protective packaging.

The cons--
If you want a perfect clean box forget it don't buy it here online hope for in the store so you can see it or roll the dice they don't care about the products or the packing.  damaged box not even worth it if your a collector.

don't buy online unless your a gambler.

finally was able to order item online.  it came damaged as per usual.  the box was fine, it was bubble wrapped and yet it was still damaged.  why does walmart continuously destroy product.  then again, why do we keep buying?
