We aren't gamers so we didn't want or need something top-of-the-line. This met our mutual need for clear picture and good sound quality. This TV was a good pick or had a good rating with Consumer Reports. The quality of the TV and the value met our budget nicely. We recommend this TV highly.

Highly disappointed in this TV.
As a warranty replacement for another Samsung TV, I expected better. First, the app selection is not good. This TV supports fewer apps than the TV it is replacing. Second, and more important, the picture on this TV ok if you sit directly in front of it. If you sit off to the side, even a little, the picture is washed out. Either way, the 'old set' (bought in November of 2018) had a far better picture. It just kept freezing, and rebooting. This one, so far, stays on. Just a terrible picture. And its supposed to be 4k and UHD. Probably shopping this weekend for a replacement.

Amazing clear picture!!

We love this Samsung Smart TV. It has all the Apps we need and it is so easy/friendly to use. It is also so easy to add other Apps. Clear picture and connects to the internet in a Flash!! Will buy it again to replace other TV's in our household. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Best of the best forthe price of being 7series2019

I love it its phenonminal i love everything about this 2019 7-SERIES i have the 2018 NU7200 50” one from last year i love the 2019 edition for my Gaming on my Project Scorpio the picture is MINT the only DEF from the 2018 version is one setting i belive Pure color but this 2019 RU7200 4K HDR UHD 3860x2160p it punches a hard hit in the GPU and mother board with the new 4K chip in the 2019 but you do not get that one feature from the 2018 50” NU7200 Seriosly doesnt bother me at all because the purpos of this TV is for GAMING and MOVIES ETC and i can always set that up make a 100” 4K tv lol but hands down best of the best i got this from a paid promotion and i couldnt be thankful enough for samsung and verizon for getting me this tv brand new for a steal beautiful i own all of samsung products upgrade every year i also have the MU360 surrondsound plus the CF369 27” curved screen moniter AMD built in radion and windows 10 here me out everyone (SAMSUNG IS THE BEST OF THE BEST) and i own a 43” 6300 6series 4k smart tv goes on and on you can not beat them hands down best of the best and trust me im a electronic nerd and study all of this can be on here all day but get this RU 7100 our 7200 the 7200 gives you one little feture cant even notice to be honest but i stand buy all of there products and im very proud to say i love being a Loyal samsung customer and will back them up on everything GREAT GAMING TV it does EVERYTHING you will see this for your self soon get it and ladies and Gents thid is your news from the one and only TuNeS thank you Wally take care yall

Nice upgrade from my old TV

I enjoy all the great features and the ability to finally say goodbye to cable. The picture is clear with good colors. I have always gotten great quality products from Samsung. My only problem is that one of the receptors (not sure if this is the correct word) for the mounting screws is missing. I am able to attach three of the four screws holding the legs on. Very Satified. Samsung Everything!

I recently bought my samsung 55inch inch & before purchase of tv I only ever had a samsung galaxy s8. After buying the samsung smart tv I would not recommend anything besides it. I love everything about the tv expecially that I can control everything from my cellphone. I love this television it is by far the best that I have ever purchased . I have the curved model and I love the picture quality it gives off. From many different Angel's. A good bargain for a UHD TV

I spent a long time comparing this set to a Chinese-made competitor. The picture and software responsiveness were much better on this set.

Overall, I really like the picture quality and the 4K upscaling on this set. The colors and contrast are deep and rich on this set. I love the auto-dimming feature as it keeps the picture only as bright as it "needs" to be based on the ambient light in the

room. Motion is handled fairly well for a set in this price range, though it might benefit from a true 120Hz refresh instead of the made-up program they use to "simulate" 120Hz. I think the control of the TV is smooth and seemless when switching between apps. Apps load very quickly and there is no "glitchy" feeling to this TV like I found when testing out the competitor with built in Roku. I also think the finishing on this TV is very nice and it just "looks" great in the room.

Now for the negatives... My main complaint is that the Samsung app store is pretty lousy. You can't get a lot of popular apps like FXNow, Bravo, etc., which is frustrating for a supposedly "Smart TV" in 2019. This definitely needs improvement. With so many TVs using a third-party (Google, Roku, Fire, etc.), I don't understand why Samsung is hung up on trying to develop its own platform which drastically limits the content.

The other major complaint I have is with the horrible remote. I feel bad being so upset by something as stupid as a remote... but the remote and the app store definitely cost it a 5-star rating from me. Samsung wound the clock back 10 years and gave us a huge, cumbersome remote with WAY too many buttons on it (who needs a 10-digit keypad on a remote anymore?!?!?!) along with numerous tiny little buttons that really only serve to get in the way and accidentally get bumped while you are trying to navigate the remote. It's a Smart TV... take a cue from the OLD Samsung remotes and give us a directional wheel with a click button and just a couple of other necessary buttons to pop up the options on the screen.

Also, I like the idea of including certain shortcuts on a remote, but the problem is that including dedicated buttons for Hulu, Netflix, and Prime Video are USELESS to the people that do not subscribe to one or more of them. I use SlingTV... and its annoying to have dedicated buttons just for a couple selected apps.

Overall, it's a good TV... "for the money." A few improvements to the app store and the remote control and this could just be a "great TV!"

Would be great if it worked!

Purchased this TV 1-2 months ago and it's been nothing but problems. It will automatically disconnect from my network and refuses to reconnect. The only way to connect it back to the internet is to factory reset it every single time. I refuse. That takes approximately 15-30 minutes to reset, log in and set up the TV.
