Instructions: . Painting Conditions: Use outdoors or in a well-ventilated area such as an open garage. Use when temperature is between 50°F and 90°F (10°-32°C) and humidity is below 65% to ensure proper drying. Do not apply surfaces that, when heated, exceed 200°F (93°C) or galvanized metal. Avoid spraying in very windy, dusty conditions. Cover surrounding area to protect from spray mist. Preparation: Remove loose paint and rust with a wire brush or sandpaper. Lightly sand glossy surfaces. Clean with soap and water, rinse and let dry. Painting: Shake can vigorously for one minute after mixing ball begins to rattle. If mixing ball fails to rattle do not strike can. Contact Rust-Oleum. Shake often during use. Test paint an inconspicuous area first to ensure desired results. For best results, lay object horizontally on a flat surface. Hold can upright 8-12 inches from the surface. Using a steady, back-and-forth motion apply one heavy even coat at a moderate speed while continuously spraying over the object. Dry & Recoat Times: Based on 70°F-50% relative humidity. Allow more time at cooler temperatures. Dries to touch in 30 minutes, to handle in 1 hour and fully dry in 24 hours. Apply a second coat 30 minutes to 2 hours after applying the first coat or after 7 days of applying the first coat.
