    GREAT PRODUCT
Great coverage. Professional results. First time I've ever used this type of product and I was happy with the great coverage. It takes a couple of days to really dry and well worth the wait. I am LOOKING around for items to refresh with this product.

    Spray drips.
I used this product on a previous occasion and, unlike the claim that it would prevent rust, great areas of rust under the paint again appeared. I thought I did something wrong and the second time I spent three days removing the paint, applying rust remover and inhibitor, took the spray can I previously used as it was more than half full and when I sprayed small droplets of paint appeared on the surface. I returned the can for replacement, lightly sanded and used steel wool on the surface to smooth the spots and proceeded to spray with the new can. Spots appeared again!. I now have a nice white dryer with spots and if you like texture, go ahead and use this product. I wish I knew this would happen and I would not have put in this effort... I would have purchased a new dryer!

    Try using it on wood

I found out using a leftover can of paint that this does an awesome job on wood. It's much less splotchy than the other types, provides great coverage, and a nice hard surface. I am now buying it instead of the other paint for my wood projects where I want a glossy white finish. For clean up on your hands - use vegetable oil.

    Appliance Apoxy

Works great. One coat covers. However strong smell.

Perfect Color Match for Silver Painted Appliances

This is a perfect color match for Whirlpool Silver Mist and Frigidaire Silver Mist painted appliances. Looking forward to see how durable it is. Nozzle tip puts out an even fan like spray pattern.

    Worked good

Great for the price . Good for spot coverage

    Great product!

Great color, no drips, no runs, great price After reading the other reviews which were mostly negative I almost didn't purchase this but I needed a quick and cheap grid for my fridge that got scuffed when I moved into my new home. Definitely have to shake this very well for best results. The only thing I don't like is the normal spray paint nozzle. Wish they would put the wide angle nozzle that will spray even if the can is held upside down. In my pick the fridge isn't all the way dry so it's shiny in some spots & dull in others. I also used some in my tub and it hasn't dried yet but hopefully it'll look as good as my fridge.

    Rust-oleum Appliance Paint.

The product was easy to use and coated the area. My only complaint would be that it did run a little.

    Not worth it

I bought this paint to refinish a washer and dryer that had some rust spots on them. After scraping, sanding and taping, I sprayed them with this epoxy. I have never had so much trouble with such a simple job. This paint does not cover the slightest imperfection so you have to put on more coats which does not dry. If you have several coats in one area, it drips or "alligators" which you then have to sand off and paint again. The surface is shiny in some areas and dull in others. I would have had better luck with the cheaper enamel that Walmart sells but it's too late for me to switch now. Hopefully this review can help someone else. This epoxy might work alright if you have an area where you could put heat lamps or something like a paint booth to cure the paint. If you have a lot of rust or an uneven surface, you will need to sand it down perfectly first, use primer or simply choose another brand.

Something is amiss here! Rust-Oleum Specialty Appliance Epoxy Spray provides a smooth, washable surface for refinishing the exterior of appliances. It is important to thoroughly shake the can before use and in the middle of your application as well. Your finger needs to also be placed as far back on the nozzle as possible so that the nozzle is not blocked. Several light coats need to be applied a few minutes apart to avoid drips and runs.

For the price, not worth it

Purchased this to paint an antique metal bed and wanted a durable finish. I tried 2 different cans and both sprayed and dripped at the same time. Left spots on the bed. Must have defective nozzles on this paint. I have used lots of different kinds of Rust-o-leum spray paints and this was the worst by far.

    1. A primer is not required with this product. Please ensure the surface has been cleaned and prepped properly prior to applying the coating. Remove all dirt, grease, oil, salt and chemical contaminants by washing the surface with a commercial detergent, or other suitable cleaning method. Rinse with fresh water and allow to thoroughly dry. Remove loose paint and rust with wire brush or sandpaper. Lightly sand glossy surfaces.

    2. If you have a lot of rust or pitting then yes, you will save a lot of headaches if you prime first.

    1. We would not recommend using Rust-Oleum Specialty Appliance Epoxy for this type of application. Please use the Rust-Oleum Tub and Tile Renewal Kit, model #591511.

    2. I would not use this product in a fiberglass or acrylic bathtub. There are specific types of paint for fiberglass although you might be alright using a specialty plastic paint. There is no way to tint spray paint in a can.

    1. Jagger - You can apply Rust-Oleum Specialty Appliance Epoxy over factory finishes.

    2. I think you would be fine with simply changing the color. Make sure you clean the surface well and very lightly rough up the surface with something like a scrubbing pad or fine sandpaper so the paint will adhere. The black would probably be a better choice as the gold color might require more coats to cover with white.
