Good coating for small jobs
This bed coating seems to be holding up good. I didn't use it for the whole bed, only to touch up a few spots on a coating that was professionally sprayed on. Don't believe it would be a good choice to coat a whole bed because it would take at least 10 or 12 cans to get thick enough and still probably wouldn't be as tough as a Rino or Line-X coating. The Rust-Oleum did a great job on the spots that were skinned up on my Line-X coating.

doesn't stick.
Sanded down and scuffed up a brand new primed bumper and sprayed on as instructed. Boating peels right off. Sent. Multiple emails to Rust-Oleum without any response. Not right.

I used this stuff on my Yamaha Rhino and it works great. I ride hard and bash through brush and fallen trees and still there. Prepping your surface is the most important part. I roughed up the surface of the plastic . Then wiped down with lacquer thinner and denatured alcohol to clean jt. Light coats and proper cure time is a must too. Works great

Way overpriced!

Most people that purchase this probably don't use it for truck beds and to be quite honest isn't tough enough for a truck bed. This used to be 4-5 dollars a can now its over $11/can. I was using this to protect tent poles and other random things. I'll look elsewhere if its going at that price.

1. Glad to help out! Rust-Oleum Automotive Truck Bed Coating is designed for recoating and restoring worn, unfinished, or previously finished metal truck beds. It is suitable for use on metal truck beds, running boards, and bed rails. For this reason, we don't recommend applying this product on foam.
by Rust-OleumSupport
2. Our Professional Grade Truck Bed Coating is recommended for application only to metal, and previously coated metal surfaces. The solvents contained in this coating may eat into foam, damaging the surface.

1. We would not recommend using Rust-Oleum Professional Grade Truck Bed Coating on the surface of a bathtub; it is designed to be used on metal surfaces and is not designed to be submerged in water.
