Good product
I recently bought a second dish drainer. This exact one. I had the first one for a year and a half. I'm super if I would have taken better care of it (wipped it down once a week) itbwould have lasted longer. Great product for the price. No complaints

Not what Rubbermaid used to be, cheap, lacks quali
I have ALWAYS had Rubbermaid as I do all my dishes by hand (I'm 70, so I've done a lot of dishes). The drainers & drainer board used to be heavy duty, smooth surfaced, and the wire rack had a thick coating. My more recent purchases have been a great disappointment & frustration. I could buy something just as good from the dollar store. The board is slightly textured - so it is more difficult to keep clean of lime deposits. The drainer is thin, and the coating is not as cushiony. The biggest detraction is the silverware cup. The dividers used to come nearly to the top. They held the silver upright, and truly divided the sections. Now they are tiny little fins at the bottom that might as well not even be there. The silverware flops over. It is impossible to keep it standing upright. I find it impossible to keep my sharp cutlery separated from the silver, so I must be very careful when I remove the items. All in all, cheap - and there is no "upgraded" model to select if you wanted to spend the extra money to get one that is actually durable and designed well. Very disappointed.

Not sure I want to purchase this product now

I have been looking for a large red dish drainer and board to replace the one I have had for about 30 years. It just recently started with a rust spot. Not only can I not find the large in red anywhere although it is listed on your web site, but the reviews of your current products don't give me a good feeling about the quality of your product now. Need to start checking out other brands.

wire dish drainer began to rust after 1 month

i bought the dish drainer in december 2018 in walmart, miami..after about 1 month of use the base supports began to rust.the plastic covers retain water, i removed them but the rusting continues....this is my first experience with a defective rubbermaid product..

Rust

I boought this one and the drain tray started rusting in under a month!!

A Real Disappointment

What happened to Rubbermaid ? The products used to be sturdy and of good quality. I recently had to replace my dish rack and drain mat after my 20-year-old set had seen better days. I was shocked at how flimsy the newer racks have become. I gather from other reviewers that I should expect the rack to rust soon! I dislike the utensil container in the front. A utensil cup used to be in the back corner -- much more practical than having to reach OVER extended utensils in order to put a dish in a slot. Yes, I could reposition the utensil container to the back, but then it leaves a gaping hole in the front for small dishes to fall out. Also, why are you making the racks in red and black?? What happened to classic white and tan?

Coating coming off after 2 months

I purchased the Chrome colored wire dish drainer thinking it was going to hold up and last me for a while after two months when I washed it it started coming off the Chrome came off and there's sort of a red base metal color wire not at all what I expected Rubbermaid used to be the top of the line products lasted forever not So Much Anymore very disappointing.

Rusted within two weeks

I bought this rubbermaid 12 x 14 dish drainer two weeks ago from a local hardware store. It is already showing rust on the joints. My previous drainer lasted many years before rusting.

Rusty the dish drainer

Why is a product that is sold to drain wet dishes rust? Apparently quality control is not applied to this product. All ratings below apply to after the device began to show signs of rust where the rubbery feet connect with the wire rack.

Rusts after a few months.

I used a Rubbermaid Wire Dish Drainer for 10-15 years. It worked fine. When I bought a replacement a year or so ago, it began rusting within 3-4 months. It continues to rust as the plastic coating peels away. Rubbermaid used to have good quality products. Please go back to producing the quality products you used to have!
