We selected this spacious Rubbermaid storage shed because of the sturdy, double-wall construction. It is fairly roomy, and provides a ledge under the peaked roof where you can place a high plywood shelf (wood not included). Although it hasn't rained since I built the shed, I'm sure it will keep the contents completely dry.
The shed was fairly easy to build, and the instructions are quite clear. Most parts snap together. A rubber mallet is vital to secure the walls to the base, the eaves to the walls, and the roof to the entire structure. Aligning the roof requires the assistance of a second person; this was the most difficult step in the construction. Finally, a number of screws are provided to secure everything in place.
I have one suggestion for Rubbermaid. The box the shed is packaged in is barely smaller in length and width than a 4' x 8' piece of plywood. This is good, because the box just fit in the back of our Honda Odyssey with the middle and back seats out. However, the box weighs 270 pounds, quite unwieldy. It would be compassionate of Rubbermaid to split the contents into two lighter containers.
Overall, the shed meets our expectations and has helped us immensely to de-clutter our garage. I recommend it on the basis of its durability, capacity, and practical design.
