Leaky lids
by -
I recently bought several of these. 4 of the 6 lids are leaking from the base. This was not an issue with my older boxes. The box is fine and the screw part does not leak, but the base of the spout does, with any pressure on the box. Have you changed the construction?? I am not happy this time.

Great for baby transitioning off bottles
by -
This is the only cup my baby would drink from when we tried to transition her off a bottle. Our Occupational Therapist actually recommended it and I am so glad she did! There are a lot of small pieces with this thing though, so we always hand wash those right away and set in a safe place so they doesn't get lost. We have ruined a couple straws from them falling in the garbage disposal too. But, I'm not sure what else people are having a hard tim with! We've used these for almost a year and they have been great. The white part on top is usually the culprit if fluid isn't coming out-- it may have not been put back in correctly after washing, and it has to be firmly in place, and the white straw has to be pushed all the way back for fluid to come out-- this may be an issue people think is a malfunction, but it's really just operator error imo. Once you figure out those things, it's simple to use. There are easier to wash sippy cups out there with less pieces, but, I do love these cups because of their design and ease of use for young kids! They were a lifesaver for our daughter and many other kids in feeding therapy who have difficulty using a normal sippy cup or regular glass.

perfect for kids
by -
I bought the smaller one about 2 years ago for my child in daycare. It worked great, didn't leak, and was the perfect size for a 4 year old. The drawback is the straw. Don't know if anyone can design the perfect long lasting straw that's easy to clean but this one comes close.

Leaks around the straw on top
by -
We've been using what I think is the prior generation of these for a few years. They were round, held 8oz. and had a green screw top. Those were never perfect as leaving them with the straw open sometimes resulted in the liquid coming up through the straw and making a puddle on the top. When we went to get new ones because our toddler had teeth and chewed up the straw spout, these were now being sold in place of the round ones. These are worse. Much worse, in fact. Not only does the liquid still bubble up sometimes on its own, but since these are rectangular and squishier on the larger sides, it's easier for a toddler to squeeze to hard and end up with a geyser. Further, the green ones had an interior straw that fit into a hole in the top. These have an interior straw that attaches to a nipple sticking out of the bottom of the screw top and you can see that the straw plastic is a bit stretched out at the top. No wonder they sell replacement straws now and there are so many complaints on other sites about the straws splitting.

Great containers with a catch

Wonderful containers, but without gasket replacements they're just high priced trash.

Disappointed there are no replacement parts
by -
Same issues as other people below: lost the gasket so the bottles leak and the straw doesn't stay on. I believe Rubbermaid used to offer replacement parts for this bottle, what happened? So much for being environmentally friendly. I have thrown out what is supposed to be a reusable water bottle into the garbage...

Straws
by -
We bought 4 of these for night table water so we didn't have to share out water with our cats as we did with open containers. They work great except for the straws which don't stay on anymore. i would like to buy replacements but don't know where to get them. Please advice.

Used once, washed by hand, and now leaks like a sieve. Regret purchasing and do not recommend.

Damaged in packaging....
by -
 Verified purchaser
Purchased four, one had spout popped off, seal went missing through cracks left open in shipping carton, had to discard on arrival. The remaining three were fine, however the spouts pop off frequently, and the seals get lost, and have since moved on to a better option.

Great idea. Bad Execution.
by -
I bought my son and daughter each 2 of these so we didnt have to pay for juice boxes and to ease up on the recyclables we were sending to school. Not even two days and they all stopped working. Not able to suck through the straw like there is a hole in the straw but there isn't. From what im reading there is some sort of gasket that can wash off pretty easy rendering the container useless for its purpose.
