I just finished this b...

I just finished this book in less than a day! It was just as good as the first, maybe even a little better! I loved the cliffhanger at the end especially since I'm able to jump right into the next book, I hate waiting lol! I also love that we now get Reed's POV as well! This series has love, suspense and now even a little mystery!

Ive spent the last c...

"I've spent the last couple of years trying to destroy everything around me. Who knew success would taste so bitter." I have to say I was a little disappointed with book 2 in this series. Book 1 was amazing and I was hoping for the same with Book 2. It started off with a bang, but lost my interest for more than half the book. Until the ending... Broken Prince was much more juvenile. Almost half of the book was Reed and Ella attempting to get back together. Ella was not the strong character she was in book one, but instead a whiny teenager. She wrote off the whole Royal family for what she thought Reed had done. There was also so much fighting (between the students). The teens fought over everything. It was annoying and so much more could have been put into this story. I don't think these scenes were needed and I did not enjoy them. They did not bring anything to the plot, besides bringing the Royal brothers back together. This does give you both Reed and Ellas point of view. I found the writing to be different for each character. Even though I enjoyed seeing Reeds POV, the writing just seemed off. It flowed more and was more my style when it was Ella's POV. I will say they did a good job of creating Brooke into even more of a villain. I hated her character and personally felt how evil she was in every scene. I was not expecting the end and it did come out of nowhere. Even though I don't think this was that great, with the cliffhanger, of course I will be grabbing book 3. I have to know what happens to the Royal family.
