This subtle yet innovative design capitalizes on the ample space behind the front bumper to mount your RC or other standard sized winch while keeping everything neat and tidy. A 1/4" plate steel winch mount secures easily and steadily into the frame horns without cutting or drilling. A unique Roller Fairlead Bracket mounts into the front license plate area for a flush design, leaving only the chrome fairlead and tow hook exposed. This kit is easy to install, suitable for one person to do by themselves. Unlike many winch mount solutions, the winch does not have to be installed to the mounting plate prior to installing on the vehicle, making the task that much easier. This kit also includes a solenoid relocation bracket and Grade 8 Hardware. Items Included:

Great fit

It fits perfectly behind the bumper of my 2020 Super Duty. The plates are super burly and I'm not at all worried about them bending. I did have to go to YouTube for some pointers where the instructions were unclear, and I also had to buy one longer bolt to ensure good thread purchase on the top drivers side winch mount. The 1200 lb pro winch is incredible as well. I have only pulled myself up hills so far, but wish I had it the week before I decided to purchase this. Don't make my mistakes, buy it before you need it.

Fits 2013 Ford Raptor with some cutting of bumper tabs

I know it says it doesn't fit a Raptor, which is true. It doesn't take much trimming to make it fit perfect. My experience on the Raptor install: The opening where the winch rope exits has a plastic grill you remove. This grill is unique in shape and size on the Raptor Gen 1 compared to the F150. Take out the plastic and cut all the tabs on the top off with a saw or cutoff wheel. Cut all of the tabs on the bottom of the opening except the two outboard tabs which can stay and even be useful for mounting a pair of small lights. There is a tab on the drivers side on the thicker frame material about the size of a quarter that will interfere, cut it off with a Sawzall. Once you get these tabs off the install is the same as the F150 instructions. I put a 12000lb Badland that I have had for a few years in and it fit perfect. Relocation of the control box is a perfect fit. The quality of the welds and finish appears very good. It's heavy which is a good thing. Bolts match up perfectly. Shipping caused a few chips which I touched up with black paint. I repainted the front to match the rest of the Raptor bumper and flares with Rustoleum Flat Soft Iron Metallic spray paint, which is almost a perfect match to the bumper. I did not use the front cover with license relocation provided as it doesn't fill the opening on the Raptor. Instead I mounted two 3" lights to either side of the winch mounting plate. High quality with good hardware that is well executed and delivered fast. I'm impressed with Rough Country stuff.

Good product. Went in without a problem but to be honest, the instructions stink. There is a YouTube video that was more helpful. Yall should work on that. Like maybe make a video of your own that goes through the process step by step. Make it easier for us dumb DIY people.
