I had a nice 26 in ladies bike and I had to stand on my toes to touch the ground. I am 5ft 3in. Today I gave my brother my 26in and went to Walmart looking for a 24 in. I love the mint green color and that is what drew my attention to this bike. When I saw the price of $88 I almost fell over. The sales person took it off the rack so I could sit on it and my feet finally touched the ground. I bought it. When I got home, I immediately rode it around my neighborhood. It shifted nice and felt comfortable. Okay, the seat could be a little bit more comfortable as I have a larger butt than a teenager, but that can be changed. I bought this bike for exercise and to stop using my car as much since gas is going up. I wont be racing in any bike races, but I feel that this bike gives you a good bang for your buck. I am very happy....thanks Walmart! Besides raising the handlebars a tad and a new seat, its a great bike for us short adult ladies.

We bought this bike for our daughters 10th birthday. This bike is a great value and the workers at wal-mart helped us find the perfect fit for her. She was to tall for a 20" so this is a great starter moutain bike.

I bought this bike for myself for excercise. The gears are smooth and easy to change (once you figure out both gear shifts). It is a smooth ride and easy on the joints (I have arthritis). I had to change the seat to a wider one but it was so easy to change. Since I purchased my bike several women in my neighborhood has purchased this bike for themselves and we all ride together for excercise. Thanks Wal-Mart for such a great and inexpensive bike!!

We just bought this bike (in a color version not listed here) for our daughter that just turned 11. She really needed to move up from her 16 inch bike, and all the 20 inch bikes she tested already had the seat heights adjusted half way up, so we knew she'd outgrow them in a flash, so we started looking at the 24 inch bikes. The Next bikes were nice, but the lowest seat height was so tall she was far from touching the ground, the frame was just way too big. The Mongoose bikes were slightly shorter, but still a problem. We had all but given up when I saw the Roadmaster bikes. The frame allows for a lower starting seat height; our girl is 4' 6" tall, and she can sit with her toes touching. She tested the bike around the aisles and it rode beautifully, and the brakes stop on a dime. We are used to buying Schwinn bikes, and this one seems to be of similar quality. The welds, parts and construction seem to be better than average. This bike's gear system will allow her to learn shifting better than the older styles, and also allow her to keep up with us better when we start hitting the bike trails. Lesson learned: Look at the frame size and starting seat heights in addition to wheel size before assuming what size bike will fit your child. Lining up the 3 bike brands in the store allowed us to see that the starting seat heights varied by as much as 4+ inches due to the differences in the frames. Looking at the online pictures closely you can see what we are talking about. Overall, we are very pleased with this bike purchase and know our daughter will NOT outgrow it for several years!

I owned a $400+ dollar mountain bike in the early 1990's and this is very nice for the low price. It doesn't have as many gears- not that my ten yr. old needs them- it's just a bit heavier for a mountain bike, but I can still carry it with one hand easily. She loves it. Great bike for the money and pretty color without being too "girlie"!
