I have purchased both refurbished TVs and laptops in the past and have rarely if ever had a negative experience. This, however, was absurd. The TV arrived and immediately while attaching the stand I noticed that the back connections panel was bizarrely curved inward, with odd chips and marks all along it and the general appearance that it would snap any second. Then, upon turning the TV on, a big blue spot was immediately noticeable in the general area of the screen where the back was bent in. Additionally, and more noticeably, a bright white light was shining along a large area at the top of the screen, and made watching anything practically impossible. Upon closer inspection, there was a long uniform crack along the top of the frame which led to the light coming out from under the out-of-place part of the frame. Returned the TV the very next day. Horrible experience and a total waste of time overall.
