My son loves it! He is a smaller sized 9 year old and is now just getting more adventurous. "Awesome!" was his first word after getting off of it. He bought it with his birthday money he received (which he was saving up for an expensive Lego set) and loves his decision. It is bumpy on the grass he says but rides it everywhere!

    Great Dirt Bike for Beginners!

My son has been very timid when it comes to two wheeled riding. He has the dirt quad from Razor and it has been such a great product that my wife and I thought that this MX350 dirt bike might be the answer to overcoming his fear of riding bikes. After all, the MX350 sits rather low to the ground, so he could put his feet down for balance. At first he was scared, but the more he got comfortable, the more he liked it. Now he won't even consider the dirt quad! The MX 350 has been incredibly durable, but that's what I've come to expect from a Razor product. He's taken a few spills, so safety equipment is definitely a must for new riders. A regular bike helmet just won't do, there is just too much of a chance of a face first spill. Spend the extra money and get an x-games style helmet, you won't regret it! Also either knee/elbow pads or long sleeves recommended, and definitely gloves. Everyone's instinct when they fall is to put their hands down, and gloves will keep the road rash at bay. The bike goes about 14 mph, and a full charge lasts hours. It's able to easily ride in dirt, mud, gravel, climb hills, and hop curbs, this bike can do it all.
