No, this is not electric.  It is poorly made, super flimsy, and hard to maneuver.

Age range says 3+ 
But I got it for my 1 1/2yr daughter.  Although she may not be able to balance herself good yet.  She's still trying to ride like her big bros.  she luvs it.

I got this for my 3 year old to practice on, since she's tried a real Razor scooter and was unable to hold it up by herself and ride it. This one does its job. It doesn't go very fast, which I guess that is due to safety reasons... But that's the only real downfall. I like how you have to lean side to side to turn it just as u would on a skateboard, but I really thought the handle bars would turn a little when you wanted to turn it as well... But the handle bars may have to be stationary so that they won't fall over when turning. Overall it's a good scooter. My little girl loves to practice on it... Or just have Mommy push her along on it!! :)

Good scooter for 3 year old

I looked and looked for a scooter for my daughter for her 3rd birthday. I read multiple reviews and looked at countless options online. I was excited to find this one because it offered a wide front base with two wheels in the front and one in the back (so she was less likely to scuff her little toes on turning back wheels) and was a good brand and I liked the neutral colors (important for us because our younger is a boy and I want things I can use with both). We got this in, we assembled it, gave it to our daughter who was so excited about it. And when she got on it to scoot around, I noticed one major (for us) flaw. You do not move the wheels by turning the handles on the top. You can gradually guide it to the left or right by shifting your weight (what toddler knows how to do that?) but if you want to turn a corner, you have to get off, pick up the scooter, readjust and then go. As a result, she gets frustrated with it very quickly. On a side note, it is lacking features like a bell and a bag that toddlers find appealing. I am going to be sending this back and spending my money on something that my daughter will actually use.

we have a 2 year old who is learning to ride a scooter, like his older siblings. we need to steer for him, yet the handle bars do not steer. does not fit our needs, taking it back.

horrible do not buy

We expected more for the product. there`s not help the kid with balance, make it worse. we are not happy.

Razor Kixi kix scooter

My son loves riding his scooter.  He has the Zycom Kids 2 in 1 Scooter in red and green,  it is absolutely wonderful.  Was looking for a second one for my moms home whenever they went to visit, however my store was out of stock.  I decided to purchase this jr razor scooter since as a child I always had a razor and loved it.  Let me tell you this scooter is horrible, it is flimsy and made out of plastic aside from the bar.  This scooter does not steer well, or at all.  Both of my boys, my eighteen month old and six year old had such trouble maneuvering it and even went to fall a couple of times.  I decided to return it since there is not hope for this.  Don't purchase this product, it is cheap feeling, made out of plastic and super hard to maneuver.

Horrible, don't recommend at all!
