Pretty cool scooter. It's perfect for older children it has big wheels. We bought this for our 10 year old son it's not cheap feeling it's pretty durable. It was easy to put together, mainly just putting the handle bars onto the foot part and tightening it with a provided Allen's wrench. Fun for adults too! Might get one to ride around with him.

Sturdy, fast, great product!
Got this Razor Carbon Lux Scotter for our 9 year old son after researching a lot of other scooters and different brands. We like that it doesn't sit too close to the ground so there's room to go over bumps and not scrape the bottom like some low scooters. Sturdy and fast!! Nice larger tires. Our son has never had a scooter before and took to this with no problem. It's been ridden now about 15 times, going on 1-4 mile rides, and no problems.
Bought this for a birthday present for my 13 year old son. He is 5'8"" 155 lbs. Size is perfect. Its replacing the little original razor scooter that is to small and worn to pieces after many years of use. He loves it! The size is more fitting for him that the original...bigger foot area, taller handle bar, bigger wheels, it's great!
Great for kids and adults
I bought the scooter for my 34 year old husband and he loves it. For reference, he is over 6 foot and it is awesome. My 5 year Old loves riding it because the bigger wheels go way faster.
Awesome scooter! We have had an identical one for years and it is still in fantastic condition. Holds adults, so it's fun for the entire family. It is for road and sidewalk use, not dirt or sand. We had to replace the back wheel on our older one because the kids took it in sand. But since then, it's been as good as new! Smooth ride, which makes it better than scooters with small wheels, in my opinion.
SUCH A GOOD DEAL!
I was looking at spending $200 on a different Razor Scooter, just because I could pick the colors for my daughters! I finally came to my senses and ordered 2 of these for $60/ea. and they LOVED them. They work just the same. And there's no fighting over the colors. The only negative (and it's not really) is that they don't fold up. But they fit in both my car trunk and obviously our truck easily.
Awesome Large Scooter for Bigger Kids and/or Adult
We have always been Razor product fans, and the Razor Carbon Lux Scooter definitely did not disappoint. We currently have the Razor A2 Kick Scooter as well as a Razor E100 Motorized Scooter, but my daughter is very tall for her age and has to hunch over when riding both of those. This Razor Carbon Lux Scooter rides extremely smoothly and both of my kids (ages 7 and 9 but both above 90% range for height) love it. The bigger wheels and larger frame make this a really good toy for riding on bumpier pavement. What is most fun, though, is the fact that I can ride the scooter comfortably, as can my husband. We’re considering purchasing a few more of the Carbon Lux Scooters for family scooter rides! Similar to all Razor products, this scooter came nearly ready to go. We just had to attach the handle, and my kids were off and kicking. I also like how it folds down easily for storage. I highly recommend purchasing the Carbon Lux Scooter for many members of your family to enjoy. It will be sure to deliver fun, while also providing another reason to enjoy yourself outside and get some exercise.
Great Update to a Classic Scooter
I used to own a razor scooter when they first came out back in 1999 and became a huge fad in the early 2000s and this is a nice update to that classic scooter. This scooter is built in what appears to be sturdier than the original and the braking mechanism is great too! The scooter arrives in two pieces: the handles and the main body itself. I had a little bit of difficulty attaching the main body to the handle, but once I applied a little extra pressure, I was able to wrestle the handle to the body. From there, tightening the screws and locking the height into place was no problem at all. Pros: Scooter body is sturdy and has a nice steel frame. The wheels are larger which allows for a more smooth ride and everything is of high quality. I had a lot of fun with the razor when I was younger, and this was a fun flashback for me and will be a great deal of fun for kids as well. The scooter also supports up to 220 pounds! Cons: Assembly was a little bit harder than originally anticipated, but it was nothing that couldn’t be worked through.
Great Scooter for Older Children and Adults
This scooter was really easy to put together. It did come with all the tools needed to put together. The amount of time needed to put together takes only five minutes. It holds a maximum of 220lbs. I think it would be good for ages 8 and up, and even adults can ride it. The only downside to the scooter are the wheels. Never drive it when it is wet outside or the grass is wet and you get the wheels wet. This is because the wheels get very slippery when wet, and when it come in contact with whatever surface you ride it on it will slide and fall over. Besides that it is very durable, the wheels are big, and it has a kickstand!
