Easy construction, love it, but no pedal straps!
After reading reviews I was expecting this to be a challenge when building it. However, it wasn't difficult at all. Maybe cuz i am really good at following directions and paying attention to detail in every step. All the tools when neatly packed and there was maybe a total of 5 screws. You do need an extra person to help with holding the lug nut part under the seat with a wrench (or possibly a hand) in place while I turned the screw inside, but if you have the right tools it's a cinch. My 3 year old son loved it and we took for a stroll and it was smooth riding and I love that I had control of it the whole time. I got this so he can learn how to pedal and this allows for the pedals to move when you push it. When he got tired, you have the option to just make it not go around and stay in place. I didn't find the seat to not be wide enough, so no issues there. The only thing I wish is that there was some sort of pedal straps or something to help keep my sons feet on the pedal cuz with normal stride, pedals can go quite fast and sometimes his foot would come off without me noticing and his foot got caught a couple times. This would have made the trike perfect, but I knew this when I bought the trike. I'm looking into improvising and developing something to keep his foot on the pedals for now.

The floor board is too short, doesn't go far enough back, kid's feet keep falling off. the handle is too flimsy and needs to be constantly turned in order to go straight. The shelter is too small, doesn't cover much and does not protect from sun.

Worth Every Penny

Great product for the price! It was easy to put together, even kind of fun. It's super cute. We jazzed it up with some tassels. My 18 month old loves it and she's still able to use the tray with the buttons/sounds. It's fun for her to steer, but I have control if she get's crazy lol. I love how this evolves with your child as they grow. She's going to love this for years to come.

Amazing!!! This Is The Ultimate Tricycle!!!!!!!!!!

Verified purchase

I am so happy that I stopped to read reviews when looking up tricycles for my 1 year old baby boy because the reviews led me to this tricycle! Looking at the price it was a lil out of my price range, but when I explored that it grows with my child up to age 5 and broke it down by year it is like paying $14 a year for this bicycle which breaks down to less than pennies a day! I thought this is going to be a great investment! Assembly took a lil time as it had several pieces, but the directions and pictures were very clear! When presented this to my son with a blanket over it like a surprise and he loved it! He loves the activity tray and the music that it plays. He likes to not only ride in it, but push it as well. The shade cover and seat belt are also why I chose this bike because of the safety it provides. I love that it has a push handle so I can push him for walks. The storage is great so I can put my keys, phone, or wipes. This is a an amazing first tricycle!
