Just buy a real foldout couch
I bought this with the intention of avoiding shelling out for an actual foldout couch. After receiving this item, I think I should have just sucked it up and bought a foldout. It's literally just a mattress that folds up into a vaguely couch-shaped object. That's it. The idea sounds nice on paper, but it just doesn't have the same effect as a real couch. It has the vibes of a sad couch-shaped beanbag, but less comfortable. And for $200 (item shipping tax)? Just get a foldout couch. I guess I should talk about the product itself in case you are okay with the caveats. In mattress form, it's more comfortable than an air mattress but less comfortable than a real mattress. In couch form, it's about as comfortable as sitting in a beanbag. It has no support so if you sink into it close to the ground, which makes getting up off the ground a pain. The two pillows exist. It had a weird smell when I first unboxed it but it went away after a couple days. Returning this thing is a pain. It arrived vacuum-sealed, so I couldn't fit it in the box it came in. Turns out, none of the Walmarts in my area would accept it if it wasn't repackaged in a box (despite what the online portal says). So if you need to return this, you need to call Walmart customer service and have them arrange a package-less FedEx pickup. I'm glad they did it, but maybe just get your locations to accept big returns? In conclusion. If you need something to get you through a couple days, you should buy a cheap air mattress for $20. If you want something long-term, you should buy a real foldout couch. This is an awkward, expensive middle ground where you have a sad couch thing that nobody wants to sit in.
