This is a great trashcan. it gits perfectly on the end of my island and doesn't take up a ton of space. They fit a standard trash bag including those with the drawstring. i will say you do have to tuck in the liner in the back below the mechanism ir the lid won't fully close. this isn't a huge issue for us as everyone in the house was quick yo adapt and its second nature when putting in a new liner. the finish is great and its easy to clean.
