My old one failed so I ordered this one and it works ok. The volume isn't loud enough it isn't very clear and crisp sounding and it was about 1/2 the size I was expecting. Over all it functions like it should. I give it 3 stars, mostly for it's looks.

QFX Radio, Cassette and MP3 Converter
For what this item cost it is a value. I only needed the ability to listen to some Cassette tapes but the FM reception is decent. There is no bass response from the speakers in this unit but again I did not expect much given its under $30 price tag. This is not meant to compete to a Bose or Tivoli radio. which cost 10-20 times more.
Only one down side FM is not stereo.
The mp3 record and play back are great. Radio input gain is very high for all bands. The mp3 player/recorder is the real value in this package. Instant one touch recording is excellent. There only 2 things I would change. Number 1 I would add a small LCD display to the mp3 player/recorder. Number 2 I would make the FM radio stereo. For the $27 this unis offers great value as is. If you are looking for a stand alone mp3 player this is the best I have seen for the money.
A good buy
The product worked as advertised. I was able to convert my cassettes digitally to MP3 format. The instructions could be improved it would appear they were written by someone whose English is not their primary language, but I was able to follow them.
directions are very poor! I bought this to record cassette tapes to MP-3 and the directions do not tell how to do it. Also the radio is mono, not stereo, which is disappointing. The fm reciever is very weak and drifts away from the channel. Overall, not very happy with this purchase. The advertising was very misleading as to what this radio does.
MY FIRST WALMART ON LINE BUY ???????
Radio dial tuner erratic. function selector (am fm sw1 sw2 etc ) is floppy and loose, antenna is loose and wont stay in position most of the controls except the volume seem loose and the manufacturer return policy is ridiculous including the return costs never again this radio is worse than the $5.00 1960s portable imported radios we used to have
Not what I wanted for converting tapes to MP3.
I needed a stereo converter. This was only mono.
I can only recommend this product for the radio as it is fine. The tape player works periodically and skips and speeds up as it plays making the sound distorted to where it can't be distinguishable. .
Just wow and flutter
The tape mechanism was so poorly manufacted that it was unuseable. I returned it and had to pay the return postage.
