For the price this is a solid unit I have it hooked to my personal desktop computer with a pair Polk adios and a pair of Bose speakers. The distortion may be more than more expensive units, but when turn up the volume of good quality speakers they erase 1/2 of it.
Exactly what I needed.
This is exactly what I needed to complete my home entertainment system, goes great with my old high power Kenwood and Pioneer speakers.
I like it.
I like this receiver so far as it was my first time buying one and wiring all the speakers myself. I have it hooked up to 2x big tower speakers and 2x bookshelf speakers. So far it sounds great. You can hear a little hum but its not that bad.
Awesome Amp/Receiver at a great price.
So far this Amp/Receiver has been incredible. I am only using two of the four available channels and it is pushing two MTX tower speakers with two 12" subs and a horn in each tower no problem. Very loud with excellent bass and treble. Almost silent when nothing is playing through it. The tuner is decent. Has a nice clear display to let you know what station you are on and it has more power than another brand I recently bought and returned claiming to have 1,100 watts. No way! This blows the competitors out of the water! Can easily be used as a surround sound system with your TV. Or you can hook up any accessories you may have with it's multiple ports. It does not have a headphone jack but that is not a big deal for me. The only thing I dislike about this amp is that you can't turn it on or off with the remote. But once again big deal. I would highly recommend this to any music lovers on a budget. This is the best one for the money, and better than most triple the price.
It works as directed
I had nice surround sound systems that only worked when they felt like it. This works as directed and with the blue lighted buttons it is elegant. For connecting speaker wires it has screw in posts, which was a hassle. Now those post appear to be a better solution than the push in spring-loaded connectors. It doesn't have Bluetooth, but you can connect a lot of devices and use the mike input for an electronic piano. I have eight speakers connected and it sound very nice. It has a cooling fan, but with the music up I don't hear it. I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend it to others.
Great sound. I bought it for my dental office. Had an old system from the 80s. So convenient to have a remote. Only downside is you can't turn it on or off with remote.
Defective receiver sent.
We purchased this receiver because it was inexpensive and promised to be a quick replacement for one of our home stereo receivers, which had failed. At $102 with free shipping to our local Walmart, we looked forward to restoring music to the two rooms it would serve. I installed it when it first arrived and found that the volume control only made the volume increase. That's right; turning the knob clockwise made the music louder. Unfortunately, turning it counterclockwise made it louder yet. The remote functioned as it should have, and we considered keeping the receiver and controlling it only with the remote, but in the end we returned it to Walmart for a full refund. We then purchased a different receiver from another source. Receiving a defective receiver was probably a fluke, but the experience left us with negative feelings about Pyle. Walmart, on the other hand, handled the whole thing quickly and fairly.
I want to return for refund does not work
This is not what I needed I want a refund and I'll look for a receiver with a digital output on it this is only capable of AV connections. Please tell me how do I go about returning this item
Worked great for two months.
For the first two months I really liked it. Then the tuner button on the front quit working and you would get a error message but the tuner would turn on with the remote and after about a week the radio would not work at all AM or FM. Customer service said you can send it in for repair but you pay for shipping both ways. That came out to be a total of 80.00 I only payed 89.47 plus tax for the receiver so it went straight to the trash can and I spent more money to get a better brand.
