Good Shoe for Elderly
I bought this shoe for my mother who is 91 years old. She has a pair to wear around the house and a pair to wear when she she gets ready to leave the house. They are a great fit and with the velcro, can make them fit just about any "swollen" foot.

The name of these shoes should be "Crush N Foot"
I have worn size 9 shoes all of my adult life. The size 9 Propet Cush N Foot shoes are designed where the higher heel causes my foot to slide forward and crush my big toes into the front of the toe box. I sent them back and purchased a size 9.5 and still had the same issue. I will have to send the 9.5 back also.

Comfort for diabetic feet!

Bought these for my diabetic mother in law in a rehabilitation facility. Her feet were so swollen from a hip operation that she could not wear her shoes to therapy. These are the best! Comfortable, roomy and sturdy. Everyone has been asking where she bought the shoe and the brand!

Best shoe for in-house and around the yard.

So, I've uses shoes.com before. It's where I found the Propet brand. This time I got a house shoe, and two Propet walkers, a high top and yeah, lots of shoes this buy around. These are soooo comfortable as a house shoe, and yet have a stable, hard enough sole to go in the yard with my puppy. I'm so happy I got these over any other slipper type shoe I looked at. Fit is perfect, easy on, easy off, couldn't ask for more. (well. maybe shoes.com could do a BOGO once in a while, just sayin' . . . lol.)

Slippers thar are durable and easy to put on.

I bought these slippers for my 90+ year old mother. I am always looking for shoe items that she can independently use. Mom is able to put on and take off the slippers without assistance. The slippers are attractive, comfortable and durable for indoor or outdoor walking. I highly recommend these slippers, especially for the elderly.

A true winner!

I have searched and searched for slippers for my teenage daughter. Due to foot problems, she needed slippers that were not flat (to take stress off her Achilles tendons) and that had a deep enough toe depth to accommodate her orthodics. And, they had to come in a small, narrow size that would stay on her heel. These slippers had everything she needed. The velcro fastener even allowed her to perfect the width adjustment. She is absolutely thrilled with these slippers, and I am one happy Mom. I just ordered another pair for her.

Good for elderly

I cannot review this shoe from a clients point of view but, i purchased them for the my 96 yr. old mother who has an issue with her feet swelling and not being able to put on a normal shoe, this shoe is very easy to slide on, they seem to be a good fit, she wears a size 7 and that is what I purchased, and they seem to be a correct fit. She has stated they are very comfortable and very stable. I would recommend them for people with issues for getting shoes to fit.

Great, But With One Serious Design Flaw

Nice quality shoe; easy to put on a swollen foot and lots of room on sides and instep. However, the closure flap comes too close to the leg and it digs into the flesh. I would give five stars if the flap were about 1/2" narrower. Remember that, especially with diabetics and heart patients, the feet alone don't swell, but the ankles and lower legs, too.

Slick Soles

With ALS, I have great difficulty standing and need good traction. This shoe was perfect in terms of fit, and ease of putting on and taking off, but when I tried to stand, the soles were like polished glass. I was disappointed because it looked like I had found the perfect shoe. I will be returning them.

Runs small. Runs narrow.

I've been wearing Propet shoes, in various styles, for years so the fit of This shoe surprised me, because it runs small and it runs narrow. I have other Propets in my usual 9.5 XW (EEEE), and the fit is great. I know this shoe has a bit of "give" but it's not enough to make up for the sizing. Also the flap comes very far up on the foot, nearly to my ankle, and it irritates. I'm assuming that would be worse in a large size, which is why I'll keep these and try to wear them as they are. This is the first Propet shoe I've ever bought that disappointed me. Of all styles, you'd think this one would be roomy and comfortable.
