There's no temperature control there's no on and off switch you just plug it in or you unplug it so you have no idea what the temperature of the grease is. There's no light to tell you whether it's even on or not wish I could get my money back I would buy something else.

    I had one of these fryers for about 10 years or more. I used it several times a week and it seemed to last forever. It finally died and I was so happy that I could purchase a new one. It's a very good deep fryer for one or two people. Highly recommend.
