The kids had fun playing this for several hours. Its hard to get them to play anything not electronic for that long without fighting lol but they played this!!!!!
Would recommend
Grandkids ages 3 to 16 love playing this. Younger kids were able to play. Would recommend this to anyone with kids. Bought a second one for kids to take home they loved it so much.
Fun for older kuds
If you have played the original version of the game, it is very much the same. We ended up playing by the older kids rules because the younger rules were more confusing. The board and pieces are very kid friendly, colorful and fun. I don't think it is good for kids younger than 7 or 8. My 5 year old liked watching but playing was a bit harder.

Good game for younger kids
We liked everything, except one thing, is why only four stars instead of five. The compartment that hides the code is to small, does not completely cover the code, and is hard to take on and off.
The little circles that you put items in are not indented enough. You just move the board and everything falls over because they are not secured in place. The regular mastermind has better holes to put pegs in.
