I use twin sheet sets quite frequently in my home. I have two boys, one of whom changes his sheets several times a week. I also have my own twin bed just for sleeping in, after my snoring husband turns in for the night on our queen mattress. I enjoy a high thread count on my sheets, but I can't always afford the higher-end brands. I thought I would give this microfiber sheet set a try. While not as soft as other brands, right out of the box, these sheets are comfortable and fit on my twin mattress just fine. I think after I wash them a couple of times, they'll be just perfectly soft. With the dark teal color of this set, I will be sure to wash them in cold water to prevent color bleeding. My pillow is slightly larger than standard (by just a tad), and the pillow case fit it fine. The thickness of the fabric feels very sturdy (which is how they manage to make them wrinkle-resistant, I imagine), but the sheets aren't too heavy either. I expect that they will last for many years, through countless washings. Overall, I do like this product and can give it my recommendation. Color note: as mentioned, my sheet set was a dark teal color, and does not appear to be “emerald” to me as they are labeled. “Emerald” would be the color seen on an actual emerald, or in the Wizard of Oz. This color definitely has more of a blue tinge to it.
