Deliverd in 3 boxes, generally all the same weight. Packed well. As long as you keep track of the 4 different size bolts, assembly with jsut the picture is straight forewar. I'm no handyman, an redid certain parts because it would "fit" but the holes were facing the wrong way - i.e. just pay attention. As long as you keep weight on the j-hooks it's stable to hold for pull ups. It's not as deep as I envisioned, but that's my fault. Anyway, I'm 6' 3" 270 lbs and can squat and deadlift just find. It's too low to overhead press on the insie, but the safety bars allow for you to place a bar on the outside as well. I use a 6' Standard bar that just fits. Inside I use 7' Olympic bar. I called an they said it's good for 600 lbs - way more than I'll ever squat or bench, especially. The bars and hooks are quick to change and alot of options (holes), I stick a board under bench because I'm between a couple ideally; but you can't expect holes everywhere (every 2" I think) The price was right and it has what I need. I am strongly considering the lat pulldown attachment down the road.

Great Quality Power Rack

I was in the market for a power rack for about 3 months. I decided on the PPR200X because of its price, and the good reviews Ive seen on many sites. Its much cheaper than the closest competitors, and is a very solid rack. I have no regrets over buying it. Be warned, the instructions arent that great. They consist of a parts list, and an exploded drawing. Basic, but it gets the job done. At no point did I wonder what needed to be done next. Also, I recommend a partner to help you put it together due to the size of some of the parts. Aside from that, all you need is a couple of 3/4 inch wrenches or sockets. It ships in three boxes, so UPS can easily handle it. Its 2x2 tubing, so accessories such as New York Barbell's dip attatchment will work perfectly. A very solid addition to any home gym setup. If youre on the fence about this rack, dont think cheaper is lesser quality.

Best entry level rack

This rack is the best value I could find for less than $600. If you can spend $600 then get a better rack. If you can't/won't spend more than $600 then get this rack. It's that simple. As others have said, this rack is made from very thin metal. You almost certainly WILL dimple the cross members while you're assembling it. As long as you pay attention to what you're doing the dimples will be small and do not affect the strength performance of the rack. The thin metal makes for a VERY light rack. I often move the rack when I replace the bar after a set. This could be very dangerous, so I plan to build a 6' x 8 or 10' platform and bolt the rack down to it. Some will complain about having to do this, but I will glue some rubber down to the platform and it will double as holding the rack down and protecting my floors during cleans and deadlifts. Not that big a deal. The only other negative about this rack is the holes for the safety bars don't go as far up and down as I would like. Don't get me wrong, I'm 6 ft tall and they are perfect for bench press and squats. But, i would like them to run almost floor to top of the rack so I could use them to adapt the rack to less traditional exercises. Of course, this is trivial and will probably be the same on most racks.

Nice Rack

You can't beat this rack for the price. A local fitness place has it for over $100 dollars more. The rack itself was easy to assemble and is very sturdy. I have no problem loading several hundred pounds on the rack, it didn't show any signs of being overloaded. The pull up bar is great and the rack doesn't budge at all while doing pull ups as some people have mentioned. The only thing I don't like is the pin system used with the liftoffs and safety rods, the pins are a pain to remove and insert, I'd rather the type that goes around the square tube and locks in that way. Overall this is a very sturdy rack for anybody looking to expand their home gym.

Very good power rack for a very good price

I shopped around for a good power rack and came across this one. It is a good size and seems to be very sturdy. My only concern about buying this rack was that it might not be stable enough to do pull-ups and chin-ups on, but that has not been the case as it is stable. I agree with the other reviewers that the one downside to this rack is not the rack itself, but the bad instructions that are included. Not so bad that you won't be able to put it together, but it might take you an extra half hour than if it would have come with good instructions. Also, I looked at many sites for the best price and Sam's has them beat with the price and free shipping.
