I got the mower home from pick up at the store, filled it up with oil and gas and it fired right up. The assembly was very simple to set up and use, and it cut right through 12" grass with no struggle. We couldn't be happier with the mower especially after the money we saved.

Great Value, and Great Performance
Very easy assembly. I did not need or want all the bagging or power to the wheels features, so the price was great. The 170CC engine is bigger and more powerful than the standard 140CC that I saw with most competitors. The bigger engine should help get through long grass that I sometimes encounter. I have only used it a few times, but it literally on the 1st pull out of the box. I was amazed. Runs smooth as can be and seems to glide across the grass compared to my old, worn out mower.
I will never buy another brand of mower. This is my second Powersmart mower. My 22" self propelled broke (my fault, not mower). I bought this 21" regular mower. Mowed my yard like a champ. I only wish they would give you a regular chute instead of a mulching chute that falls everytime you bump into something. Plastic wheels hold up far better than expected. I love my Powersmart mower.
Best Mower in the Market of 2020
When I first ordered the PowerSmart 170cc Mower It was the cheapest mower I could find online, and to my avail, a name brand one at that one, with good quality parts. I know PowerSmart uses a Briggs and Stratton engines to power their incredible mowers, (which they are well known for). This mower is the best bang for your buck, most mowers with features such as a 21' steel deck (hard plastic support in both front and back), able to mulch, side discharge, reusable air cleaner (air filter, it's like a sponge), and a huge gas tank (just my opinion, tip: don't fill it all the way), usually cost around minimum $250 in my opinion, or even higher for a bigger name brand or something more fancy, but you get all of this for less than that. What surprised me about PowerSmart is the fact that when I ordered my mower around the time of the pandemic (COViD-19 or Coronavirus) from Walmart the mower moved from Idaho to Alabama in just three days, across the U.S., which was really impressive (shout out to FedEx for lightning fast delivery). UPS only prioritizes business, and if drivers have free time then residences, but FedEx, prioritizes residential areas (kind of like choose a flavor). Details: Mower came in a beautiful heavy generic rectangle box, when I first opened it, it smelled like a when you buy a brand new car. Comes with manual, California warranty notice, spark plug came pre-installed, PowerSmart recommends 10w-30 oil but the mower also works with different ones (such as 5w-30), the reason why they recommend 10w-30 due to their location in Idaho (must be pretty cold up there, Tip: 10w-30 works best in cold climates). Blade also came pre-installed (I didn't look at it good due to safety, but the blade looks decent, not sure if it was a mulching or a hybrid one, but it looked like a regular one, I'll take a good look later in a update to the review). The stop cable (aka: control, zone cable, throttle cable) is attached behind of the engine. All I had to do was take it out of the box unfold the handle and tighten the bolts, add the oil (you have to buy it separately, less than one quart is enough), luckily I had some lying around. I took it outside, added the side discharge that came with it (also the spark plug socket set in the zip lock bag, stop cable holder, and two hex/phillip bolts). I pressed on the primer 3 times (red button), in one pull it started right up (DO NOT PANIC like I did, it is perfectly normal that it blows white smoke from the exhaust, and makes a little noise, I googled it and it said it was just some residue from the manufacturer), I just restarted in level area and it just worked fine. Works good in a small 500 square foot suburban house. Cons: I don't consider this a con, but I was confused, in the manual it said for maintenance clean the exhaust bowl. This confused somebody like me who was using a 15 year old Craftsman mower (bought from Sears, Briggs and Stratton). Side discharge kept falling off, modernmowerspringmulchdoor.
This product is good for young people who can push load while mowing grass. So be careful when you buy it need strength to pull or use machine , if you are old person buy self propelled lawn mower . other wise this push lawn mower is good
