We bought this for our four year old because we thought this controller would be easier for him to use than the controls that are on the switch and he is also use to using an XBOX controller. This controller has been very helpful for him...and us too
These are pretty durable! They have been dropped SEVERAL times seeing I have young kids. The battery life is pretty good as long as they get turned off after using them. The price is what attracted me to them. They do not vibrate like the original controller it comes with but it doesn't stop the kids from having fun. They are just all happy to be able to play together.
Worked great! Grandson wanted another controller so he could play games on his Nintendo Switch with another player.
I bought this for my son and he absolutely loves it I also bought energy lithium batterys from them at a great price I really recommend the controller and energizer lithium batteries from them for a great gaming experience without having to switch out the batteries
I'm living in the corona quarantine times right now. Ive had my switch for about a year or so now, but ofcourse NOW of all times the left stick on my joy con is drifting and i am unable to use or play most things on it. And because everyone has been quarantining for 2-3months there are no controllers or joy cons or even the game systems themselves ANYWHERE. And the ones that are available are price gouged about $50-60 each!! $200-300 for the consoles too! Its absolutely insane!! So rather than be scammed into buying overpriced joy cons i bought this controller as a cost friendly way to still be able to use my switch. I love the color, it feels durable, and has worked great so far. The only thing that sucks is that this type doesn't have the rumble feature. But i also don't want to pay double what this one cost just for the “pro controller” for that one extra feature. Ive never even seen this particular controller in the store. Im very pleased with it, considering the situation. But i think i'll be able to use it and enjoy it long after all of this is over and i can find the others again. I would suggest purchasing these online though. I went to my local store and a target to pick up this controller(just different color) so i wouldn't have to wait for it to ship(because i was in a bind like i mentioned)....but they are $10-20 dollars more expensive in store. Idk if they price match their online prices but just easier for me to order online at that point and get the color and price i really liked.
Pretty Bad Controller
I loved the design on these and bought one in store at Christmas time and they were in useable in less then a month the drift was absolutely horrible.
pretty, but that is it. I got it as a replacement for my joycon controllers after they started to wander during gameplay. I've had this controller for less than 4 months and it's already doing the same thing. makes it hard to play games, or even watch movies, when the controller is trying to do it's own thing. if I had known it was going to have the same issues I would have forked out the extra cash for more joycon. at least i got 1.5 years out of them before they broke.
The joy-con drifts
I got this for Christmas and 4 months later It starts drifting (It's inputting up even when i'm not touching the control stick) I found that this company is unreliable as it has happened to all but one of the controllers that I own (from the company of course).
Would not recommend
I bought this and immediately opened it to find that the material the controller felt cheap. Once I connected it to the Switch and the left joystick was broken. It would automatically drift downwards.
