I wasn't sure if I'd like this, but it's been so nice to use. I have a Dell XPS 13 9370 running Linux Mint 18.3 with kernel 4.15.0-29-generic, and I haven't noticed any problems over the past couple of week since I've been using it. It's nice because the laptop I use only has USB-C ports, and it's super annoying having to use a bunch of different dongles. This docking station let's me plug in ethernet, mouse, keyboard, external hard drive, hdmi to another monitor, and power my laptop all with a single USB-C cable plugged in to the laptop. I'm going to use the mount soon as well to place the docking station on the wall behind my desk and leave the USB-C cable poking out so I can just come home, sit down and plug in my laptop to instantly get access to all my files/backups, faster internet, and an additional monitor without fiddling around with a bunch of different cables and dongles. It's a little expensive, which sucks, but being a Linux user and having something just work out of the box is nice. So if you value convenience and have devices with USB-C ports, I'd say it's worth it. I will also say it was a bit lighter than I expected and I was worried that meant it was cheap product for the price, but if anything it is nicer because it isn't an extra heavy product I have to tote around, it's light and does not add much extra weight to my bag.
