    Stable scooter for beginners

My little guy has been wanting a scooter for a while now, but since he's only three he struggles with the two wheeled scooters. When we got the chance to review this product, we were all super excited! This scooter requires minimal assembly. The best part, to me, is the package includes all the necessary tools! Seriously awesome. For those who already have a great set of tools, you'll probably want to use your own, but for us lazy folks who can't be bothered, the tools included are just fine for assembling all the parts. The materials for this scooter are all of pretty good quality; what you would expect for the product. Metal frame, soft plastic handle bars, plastic platform, plastic and rubber wheels, the overall scooter is really light and easy to handle. The fact that it's light is one of the main reasons why it's easy for my three-year-old to use. Riding the scooter has some pros and cons. Being light-weight, my three year old can handle it pretty well. The three-wheel design helps stabilize the scooter and minimize the need for perfect balance. The downside to the design, which surprised me, is the fact that the second wheel is in the back. As my toddler moves his leg along the ground to push himself, he tends to bump his ankle into one of the back wheels. Since he's new to using scooters I'm sure he'll figure out how to push past the wheels entirely and get more momentum for a better ride. We haven't tried the three-wheel scooters with two wheels in front, one in back, to truly compare. My five-year-old is able to use this scooter as well. She's much more skilled at keeping balance and pushing the scooter farther and faster. The second wheel in the back is no problem for her. The problem for her, turns out, is how light it is. She can't put as much of her weight on the scooter as she goes, otherwise it wobbles more. Overall, both of my kids enjoy using this scooter. They take the cons and figure out a way to compensate and adjust, which pretty much goes for any recreational vehicle they own. My three-year-old loves the pocket in the front and even packed up the tools included for assembly to be a little "fix-it" man on a scooter!

    Super cute

I got this for my 2 year old to try before getting a tricycle. I thought maybe she could figure this out c a little easier with no pedals but I was wrong. She likes to sit on it and scoot around and it's obviously not made for that so it will flip over and the handle bars just turn whichever way. Probably should have waited another year or so. It's really nice though and only took a couple minutes to assemble with very simpleast instructions and not a lot of pieces. Just wish it had the little pad thing on the handle bars. Its fallen over a few times and seems pretty durable so i think it would last a while. She loves it though so I'll just put it up until she's old enough for it.

    Great little starter scooter!

My daughter is a huge fan of Paw Patrol so the second she saw this scooter, she loved it! It is brightly colored and has all of the Paw Patrol crew on it. It also comes with a cute little bag that attaches via velcro straps to the scooter. My daughter thought this was great and stuffed it with little toys for her "journey" around town. My husband put this together in less than ten minutes. All of the tools you need for putting it together are included which is nice. The wrenches that are included are a little flimsy and difficult to work with but they do get the job done. We did note that the rear axle seems to slide around a bit (almost like there is a part missing to hold it steady) but it does not appear to affect the usability of the scooter. Overall, the scooter seems very sturdy and well designed. My daughter (who is 3) had no problem jumping right on and maneuvering it all over the driveway. I think this would be suitable for a child who is at least 3 years old as you do have to have some coordination to make it go! If your child loves Paw Patrol & you are looking for a scooter suitable for a beginner- search no more!

    Paw Patrol scooter

Item is adorable and looks like it is well made. Grandson loved it! Arrived quickly but the box that it was shipped in from Walmart was in terrible shape all items were in the box but were falling out on the backdoor

    Handlebars not secure

This was very cute and I was excited to get this scooter for my almost 3 yr old. Every piece counted for, but the clamp that was supposed to be used to tighten and keep the handlebar stem in place and in line with the front wheel, it did not hold up to its job. They handlebars move every which way & is not secure with the tire so I'm having to look for an alternative to fix the issue so my son can fully enjoy this scooter..
Bought one last Christmas for my greatgrandson who is 3. He loves it. Well worth the price.

Very cute, but smaller than expected.

Bought this scooter for our 4 year old son and it is a bit small. The age limit on this scooter should probably be up to 3 years old, not 3 and up. Even though it is small, he is having a great time riding it around, but he'll definitely outgrow it quickly.

    Difficult to assemble and unsafe

Returning this item. We’ve tried several times to get it put together and no matter what we do, it keeps popping apart. The spacers and flanges don’t fit correctly into the T bars. I’m not sure if mine is just defective, as it seems the majority of reviews are from happy customers, but I also see lots of other reviews saying the handlebars fall right apart. The rear wheel spacers displace with just a little bit of pressure as well, as they popped out while my mother was trying to secure the handlebars better. Not at all happy since this was supposed to be my 4-year-old’s birthday present. Also, you can’t adjust the height of the handlebars at all which is crappy because my son is already 3’6”

    1st scooter

My 3yr old granddaughter loves it. Easy to put together. Easy to ride. The only thing wrong with it is the bag on the front. Seams split after she put the first thing in it. Scooter is great though.
