  • A. Push the red handle on the underside. This released the handle. Then slide the yellow handle through the hole meant for it. It slides into place and locks into position fairly easily. To go back to the riding toy just push the red handle again and remove the yellow handle from the slot. It will lock into the sitting position fairly easily.

  • A. I really cannot answer this as I bought it for my great-grandson who lives about 150 miles away from me. He just turned one-year old and is not walking by himself at this time so I imagine that he holds the push handle in the back and his mother or father or other older person supervises his play time on this.

  • A. This toy can be used in two different positions. When used as a walker, the child holds on and can push on the handle, and walk with it.

  • A. The toy has both option. The handle goes in and the bigger on goes up and it will lock in place. It should show you in the book. Once it is on poistion the child walks behind it and pushes it.

  • A. You just pull a thing on the bottom and it folds up and snaps into place. It's really easy.

  • A. I just bought one for my grandaughter to use, and the way I understand it, as soon as the baby can stand up, he/she could stand behind the car with the yellow handle in the up position. (The handle can be pulled up and locked in place by an adult.) Then the child uses that handle to push against and walk behind, almost like pushing a miniature doll buggy, etc as a support system while learning to walk. Then AFTER they learn to walk and their legs are longer, children can use this same toy to sit on, and sort of scoot it around, and it becomes a leg powered little car.

my 9 month old son has been playing with this for about a month now and enjoys it. He likes it when i sit him on it and push him around and he likes to push it...he just started actually walking with it in the last week or so. It moves REALLY easy/fast on hard floors.

I bought this for my son when he was about 7 mo old. He played with some of the nobs, trunk, and rattle spinner at first. Then when he was about 8 mo old, he started walking with it all over the house. Now at 10 mo. he can turn it over corners or completely around if he chooses to. He loves it! Its one of his favorite toys! He will play with it for 30-45 min a day. It was inexpensive, durable, and I would recommend it to any child who can crawl and is beginning to pull themselves up.

This was a gift for my son's first birthday who is not quite walking yet, he loves the walk n ride so much he uses it more than any other toy in the house. He doesn't quite use it the way its meant instead he walks next to it holding onto the handle with one hand and pulls it along with him. He also likes it when I fold it down and push him around the house with his feet up. Great buy, love it.

I like to buy toys that my daughter can grow with so when we bought this one she was a little under the recommended age. So she would play with the spinner on the back and the other parts of the toy. THE FIRST STEPS SHE TOOK WERE WITH THIS TOY. Then shortly after she was walking on her own. She still pushes it around and rides on it eventhough she is old enough to run and climb. I love it and she does too.

My son loves this toy. He got it when he was 6 months old and could sit up. He would sit there and spin the wheel on the back, play with the gear shift and push whole thing back and forth by the back wheels. I would put one of his mini rubber ducks under the hood and he would look for it. It was one of those toys that he just never got bored with. Then when he was about 10 months old, he liked to sit on it (when it was in the car position) and play with the stuff from a sitting position. I would put his feet on the hood and push him around our living room on it (holding onto to him by his waist or shoulders). He just loved that; he would laugh the entire time. Now that's starting to walk, he uses it as a walker, because it doubles as a walker. I'm sure once he's mastered walking, he'll probably want to sit on it again because by then, he'll have figured out how to push himself around on it. Anyway, this is a great toy for the money because it's like two toys in one. He loves it.

I purchased this toy when my daughter was about 10.5 months old. She loved it! She would push it all over the house in the walker position...she starting walking at 11 months. Now, at 13 months, she loves to get onto her 'car' to ride as we push her around. She can reach the 'trunk' from the sitting postion and put toys inside and even move the car a little forward and backward. Of course we make sound effects too! Great fun for everyone! Of course, as with all toys, supervision is needed. When they first start to walk with this walker it takes off fast so a steady helping hand is needed.

I ordered this a few days ago from Walmart.com and the picture shows green, but the one we received was blue. This is fine with me, but I wanted to let others know. Easy to put together, and my little boy likes it so far. My complaint is that b/c the pegs on the compartment door are not long enough my little boy pulled the door off within minutes and it just won't stay on. Also, one of the pieces (a washer) was missing, but it works fine without it. Overall a good toy with a couple of tiny flaws.
