PlayStation 5 Console

I have brought a PlayStation Console since the PS2 they came out. This is the first time, I've had to go to so much just to get one. My teenage son wanted a PlayStation 5 for Christmas and I promised to get him one. Tried several times to get one at Walmart.com whenever they announced they were in stock. I could never get one. After doing A LOT of research, I found that I could have a better chance of getting one from Walmart.com by using their app on my phone. On December 15th, when it became available, I was on my phone and I got one immediately! So happy that the console was delivered sooner than expected. It was so easy to set up. My son has played this console daily. He LOVES it! He said that this is definitely the best one yet.

Walmart had a 9:00pm stock of PS5's on November 25th, and after 15 minutes of trying to add to cart, I was finally able to order it. To my surprise it was for "Pickup Only" at checkout, and had to wait until December 2nd to pick it up at my local Walmart. Of course well worth the wait! I think Walmart should be doing the Pickup Only method from now on to stop scalpers from buying them up, and everyone will have a fair shot to get one. Appreciate you guys doing it right!

So first things first, the system is great. Loading times are improved, and graphics for new games are amazing. The controller is really revolutionary, but for fps games like COD I recommend turning the triggers off. Having a game like Astros Playroom available was a really good strategy, and the console itself looks impressive. The fans are really quiet and keep the console considerably cool. The only cons I can think of is the actual size of the console, and there are a few flaws in the interface, mostly in creating a party chat. Overall its really good, only a few minor inconveniences.

I, like a lot of other people, was excited to dive into the next generation of gaming consoles. After a couple weeks of gaming, I can safely say that it was completely worth the time and effort to get one! Spider-Man Miles Morales is one of the prettiest games that I've ever played! All of my PS4 games are also backwards compatible so that's a huge bonus. The controller is probably the coolest part of the whole system. The combination of the haptic motors as well as the adaptive triggers truly makes this system feel next gen.

It's absolutely the way to go. I've been playing it from the day I got and it is WONDERFUL. Although it may take some time for you guys to actually get your hands on it (by the way, I got it by luck because I just clicked the add to cart button and surprisingly it worked with ABSOLUTELY NO WEBSITE CRASHES). I've seen many people trying and failing but you simply have to remember to never give up!! Anyway back to the console, it is simply amazing. It is very large btw, so be sure to make some space near the tv/monitor you're going to be using it with. For the first time players out there, I've never owned a console before yet playing on it felt as if I was playing since long. The controller just makes us feel attached to it since it's beautifully shaped. Overall, I would like to say that the PS5 is the way to go to experience next gen (current gen now) and don't give up until you get you're hands on one!!!!

Delivered fast and in perfect condition

Originally I was pretty upset because it was nearly impossible to put this in the cart to check out. I was fortunate enough to be part of a good discord to get a link with it already carted where I was able to put my address to see and I was lucky enough to check out. That excitement was short lived because the shipment date was set for the 8th of January almost a hole month after the purchase. At last the reason for the 5 stars and excitement is because I received an email from Walmart and a txt from fedex saying my delivery will be their in the next 1-2 days. Its Christmas morning and I had the present I wanted under the tree and ready to go. Thank u for pushing up the purchase and have it shipped practically over night with no problems. I really appreciate Walmart putting it in a bigger box with protection so the shipping company wont realize whats being shipped considering what has happened with Amazon and the PS5 being stolen. You can tell Walmart is really trying their best to allow everyone to purchase and get without scalpers plundering the market and shipping companies trying to steal and report it missing. After several weeks of waiting to get a PS5, I finally manage to get one from Walmart. The PS5 is amazing. First boot up is a 1 time thing and you really don't wanna miss out on it. Yeah the bots are buying out everything on this site and every other site but I was lucky enough to get one. The people who delivered it were FedEx. Surprisingly the person who delivered mine placed it in my backyard while I was away for a few minutes. Came back to see a package in the backyard but no notifications from Walmart until around 20 to 30 minutes of unboxing the PS5. Another thing I will say was that the deliver was meant for December 2, 2020. Came in on November 24, 2020. Keep a close eye on your tracking number if you get one. I didn't receive one until it was delivered. Besides the whole trying to buy a PS5 and Walmart, the PS5 is a perfect gift. Do not buy from scalpers. Do not spend more than $500 for the Disc version. The console is powerful but there isn't much to play besides a couple PS5 games.

This console is an amazing console. I have a base model 1TB PS4 slim and I can really tell the upgrade in quality and graphics even with my console set to performance mode so I get higher frame rates. The dual sense controllers feel great. The only issue with the controller is that gets dirty very quickly. The main reason why I am giving a 4 star review instead of a 5 star review is because my game has crashed 4 times within the month that I owned the console. One time even caused my console to reboot. My PS4 has never crashed. I do believe this is a software based error and will be fixed with future updates. Also the storage is not enough. One of my games takes almost 100gb of storage and the console only comes with 667gb of usable storage. Otherwise the console is definitely worth the money!

I was lucky enough to bought my PS5 in a restock last January 21, 2021. Console wise, is the best console I've ever played! Everything good until then. Shipping came pretty fast (I was a little worry becuase in on of the scans took 4 days to update). They only thing that wasn't right for me was thta the PS5 look like some already opened (that is the reason for my review rating). Guys Walmart is sending the PS5 in bigger boxes because people working for the shipping company knew the weith and length of the package and they were stealing them. Leason to learn be patient because you don't want to get a surprise like mine...
