Baking Instructions: All you need (Ensure all recipe ingredients are gluten free by referencing the ingredient labels, as products may vary. If uncertain, contact the ingredient manufacturer.): 1 Cup Water, 1/3 Cup Oil, 3 Eggs. If desired, substitute 1/2 Cup gluten-free egg substitute for the eggs. 1. Set oven to 350 degrees F. Coat bottom of pan with gluten-free no-stick cooking spray. For Bundt cake, coat entire pan. For cupcakes, use paper baking cups. 2. Combine cake mix, water, oil and eggs in large bowl; mix until moistened. Beat with mixer on low speed for 1 minute and then increase speed to medium for 2 minutes. Pour batter into pan(s). 3. Bake at 350 degrees F. Follow the bake times (for 13 x 9-inch pan size, bake 34 to 38 min; for two 8-inch rounds pan size, bake 34 to 38 min.; for two 9-inch rounds pan size, bake 29 to 33 min.; for Bundt pan, bake 39 to 43 min.; for 24 cupcakes (1/2 Full), bake 19 to 23 min.). When toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean, cake is done. Cool 10 to 15 minutes before removing from pan. Cool cake completely before frosting. Store loosely covered.

Amazing

Have made this several times. Was scared the first time, I made a red, whir,blue poke cake with Jello and then a white chocolate pudding topped with whipped cream- so moist and delicious. Not one person believed me it was a GF cake. Second cake shoe. Was a cake for coffee/tea made as directed once again no variation topped with an amazing whipped chocolate buttercream frosting to die for and boy was it decadent. A winner for my team. Just so you know I have tried the Betty Crocker GF cafe and it was dry, tasteless, will never make again. Well maybe only if I followed the directions on the box exactly because I used the “Betty's kitchen suggest”” and it wa horrible

Don't recommend for celiac or gluten intolerances

While the taste is great, within 30 minutes I had a gluten reaction. My lymph nodes around my neck swole up painfully, my joints began to ache, I had a headache, I felt lethargic, and I had stomach pains. It's disappointing to make something for your birthday that is deemed safe then to be up until 2 AM sick with the symptoms. Do better please, Pillsbury.

    I've made this cake several times for me and my family with no problems. Three out of five of us have celiacs.

    Love love love. But back cool timer off

    I absolutely love this cake mix. I've been eating it for years. It is so fluffy and light, even not celiacs love it too. But what I found is that the best texture is cooking it about five minutes less than the minimum on a cake and maybe like three minutes less on the cupcakes.

    great tasting

    these baked beautiful (made cupcakes) and I'm making my own whipped icing for them. very soft inside, satisfying outside. I have to be gluten-free due to health issues and haven't had a reaction like one review proclaimed. I made these for my birthday. I would know if a product had gluten because I'm a very clean eater and rarely consume carbs. So far so good, so if you're celiac I think you're safe to eat this. If I happen to react later, I'll update my review. Also, 1 is missing because we just had to taste test.
