Very Good Razor
I am 71 years old and have been using an electric razor since my mid 30's. All have been Norelcos except for one Braun which was my first elect razor. I did not like it and donated it to Goodwill. My last Norelco needed new blades and the batteries were not holding a charge for very long, so I debated and searched for a replacement. After much comparison with other brands, I decided to stay with with Norelco which I had never has a complaint about. I was a little leary on trying the new type with the floating head and wet/dry shave. I am very happy with this razor purchase at Wal-Mart for $110.00 plus tax. PROS: 1.) Very close shave dry and closer used wet. 2.) Charges fully very quickly and if it has a completely dead battery, you can do a 5 minute quick charge for one shave. 3.) A full charge last for a lot of shaves until needing to recharge again. 4.) Motor seems to be very powerful. 5.) Cleaning with running water (suggest closing drain) is very easy and makes razor seem more germ free for next shave. CONS: 1.) Charging cord is straight wire. My last razor charging cord was a coiled wire (think old telephone handset) which allowed for easier storage and required less room in drawer. 2.) The on/off switch is too touchy, I accidently turn it off a sometimes while shaving. 3.) There is no travel case or storage bag for when traveling. 4.) When razor indicates it needs charging (red light) need to do it at that time. There is no slow down of the motor, it just stops. 5.) Does not do as good as my last razor on my bald head, but good enough. 6.) Water clean up is nice, but also causes a slight problem. The instructions say to allow it to air dry which means leaving it out on the bathroom counter which is not my (wife's) style. To solve this, I take the hair dryer on low heat and dry it enough to put it in the drawer. OVERALL: The Cons do not lower the 5 Start Rating I give this razor. I am very happy with it. Yes I would buy it again for myself. Yes I recommend this for everyone. Buy it and Happy Shaving!

I have been using Norelco razors for nearly 60 years and this one is my biggest disappointment ever. I have had it less than 9 months and the cutters are dull already, I only get two shaves on a charge and you can't use it while it is charging. Also changing to the trimmer is a pain, I should have stayed with my old popup shaver.

Best shave I ever had with electric razor.

Verified purchase

Closest shave I have ever had with an electric razor, and the battery lasts quite awhile with a full charge. Heads are a little hard to remove for cleaning, but maybe that is because it is still pretty new.
