I bought the Peter Potty urinal over 3 years ago. My boy is 13 years old and over 5' tall now. (He is disabled and has had great difficulty grasping the potty training concept.) I researched every urinal available. Short of having a real, fully functioning urinal installed, this is the best one out there. It's the only one with a separate removable tray for easier cleaning. It also has a water tank for flushing but, we quit using that ages ago as it was a distraction for him. (He loves water and the flushing was entirely too much fun.) He took interest in it right away and learned to use it in a relatively short amount of time. The best part is that you can mount it to the wall and I've been able to adjust the height over time as he's gotten taller. It's a little spendy but, it's sturdy and has held up over time. One of the best purchases I've ever made and worth every penny.
This came within 24 hrs of ordering! I was on a deadline with an almost 3 year old, and had 3 weeks to have him fully potty trained by preschool. He loved it! It flushes and easy to dispose of. Easy to clean. I take it in every room he goes and he is doing great. This was way cheaper than other websites and worth every cent due to how stubborn he is and how we really needed a tool to get him excited.
My son loves this! We started potty training at 2 years and 1 month old. He loved having big boy pants but wanted to stand and pee like daddy, so we got him this and he loves it! He loves being able to flush after he pees! I definitely recommend for other toddlers learning to potty train and who are potty trained. It's easier to clean and they can't miss!!
Love this!! We purchased this potty over a week ago and my 2yr old has been using it DAILY! The height is perfect and is adjustable so it can grow with him. The tray that holds the liquid is a great size so there is no worry about “overfilling”. The only slight setback is that the potty doesn't stand well by itself so we had to put it against a wall.
Its a fine piece of plastic, expensive, it did get my son interested and is helping go more its not a miracle worker, but it helps. its a good quality ship fast from site and didn't have to anchor to the wall as it is sturdy enough to stand upright.
It works well. The "flush" is more of a trickle, the water tank comes off way to easy (as in it just sits there on top), the kid plays with the tank and button while standing there instead of focusing on going. The tray has to be emptied 2x a day so it's not too full, as it does splash a bit when getting the tray out. At least the kid can't open the tray on his own. It also must be leaned against a wall as it's a bit unstable with the water tank full and the tray empty. It still works ok, I wish there was another design out there that has a tank. The flushing is nice as he still has to push something when he's done. Maybe with time he'll get better about not playing with the tank and button.
